I asked the fancier who collected the bird (for kelly Tom)to take both pigeons as he then could see that the original pigeon had lost weight and condition, he even handlled it!!!! Probably right Tammy there not all champions. The stand that was next to us had sick and poor quality pigeons on it and was a bit sad to see people snapping at them due to there colour, they just looked so poor that I would be surprised if they bred something to fly around the house. Me and the vet on a stand near by looked at them when all was gone and both agreed they weren’t fit for selling. And guess what he was a non-fancier! Then again with a deal like free cocci and canker with every bird!!! One young lad from the forum got some, i did try to get his attention as would have preferred to give him a pair but it was too late.

On Saturday I handled the draw pigeon that I had offered to Pigeon chat and I was surprised to find that after only 2 days in a box it had gone cold and had lost weight. Its not in my nature to pass on something that’s not 100% so I selected a really nice Mealy Janssen based Cock for Kelly Tom. Hope everyone understands that I have done it for the correct reason, and hopefully Kelly Tom can confirm he is happy with his prize. I have a sister to the Vital Pomeral, Dtr of 2nd Nat Dax, Brother of 2nd Castres and two children of his best breeder Zwarte Espior. Pheonix and Pied Pheonix What can I say about these two champions, they are both class and have already left there mark, they have won it and bred it. Pheonix won 2 x RPRA awards for long distance and is the sire of Pied Pheonix who in turn bred Champion T3 Pheonix. Jan Aardens In my opinion Raymond Moleveld has the best family of Jan Aardens in the World and he has given me the pick of these, I have children of Lightenberg, Rocky, Selina, Don Leo, 1st Nat St Vincent, 1st NPO Brive, Shady etc and to these I have added a dtr of the Goede Dax 3rd, 11th and 19th Nat upto 19,000b plus the Super Red Lady Theelens (see below). Pedigrees only really matter when you select pigeons from outside of your loft,(providing there honest) they may indicate what, distance a pigeon may perform at or breed bird to perform at!! But once you have purchased it, that paper means nowt and then the basic takes over. Give me a pigeon with prize cards any day but they can often be hard to obtain. Stuart
