Well I couldnt agree more with you! There are two Pigeon clubs in my city, one has a miserable atmosphere due to the people that run it and the other one is quite different, has lots of fun and banter. Answers on a post card as to which of the 2 clubs has 16 members and which one has 6? Also which club gains members from the other? Its also got nothing to do with performances, the happy club has he best flyers by a million miles, infact the strongest club in the Federation. Lets not see pigeon basics get like that its not so rosey

Got to have a bit of variation to keep it going surely? Lighten up and live and let live I say! Its not bitching and its not personal so whats the problem?

As In Humans if the sexes have been split for a while they doint care about colour etc. shut your desired pairs in the nest box together and only let them out a pair at a time for a while, they will soon become lovers and learn where their box is, then you will see if your homework was a master stroke or not. I keep my pairs seperate like this till the second egg is laid so parentage is guarenteed

The strongest and best flyers will be racers, if you want hours of circling round the loft try some west of england flying tipplers, failing that white garden doves or indian fantails although the latter dont fly very much at all. Hope this is of some help

Im not disagreeing with you Alf, as I said I do agree but some should take more responsibility for there own actions and as you said "Grow Up" plain as that, if some acted round here the way they do on this site they really would be run out of town

I agree with that and I'd like to add that some should be a litle more "Grown Up" with their posts and comments let alone putting it all down to what poor Richard will do and sort their own house out
