16. Most of us have eaten a spider in our sleep. And there was me thinking I'd ate too many pies!

Well just in case anyone was wondering what had happened to the ducklings here are some pic's. The first one is of their residence. Unfortunatly they have had an eviction notice put on them but my Mother as she cant hear the telly for them more often than not lol so will soon be moving to my aviery (weather permitting) as they will have much more room to move about and grow. The second one is of them having just been fed, the third one is heaven if your trying to watch telly as they are much quieter. I think you should open a wildlife sanctury Chris, these could be your first rescue-ees lol. Come and get 'um you know you want to! The last Pic I came accross and thought it was quite funny. hope it didnt really happen that way though!

Well there was obviously a problem which seems to be solved now but the fear factor still lingers. I think it is good it was brought into the open and maybe would have been better had it stated all that had gone on in the original posting as people should have the right to know all the details in such a case. I did enquire for a friend of mine who has no computer access of his own about getting some of these birds but when all this talk of illness cropped up he changed his mind pronto. My personal view on it is Stuart does little else on here but promote and sell pigeons and dont think he would risk his reputation by selling sick or infected birds for a fast buck, seems to have good business sense and to do such a thing would be idiotic and no doubt spell the end and lets face it he isn't going to be that stupid. Just ask yourself the question, if you were in his position would you chance it? I know I wouldn't. I think the talk of law suits is a bit heavy handed as we are all entitled to our opinion here and people will make their minds up on the facts not the coments of one person.

Hope you soon return to good health thats the most important thing. If you do make it back into the sport then there are plenty who would be willing to help I'm sure.

A fat pigeon is not what is required through the wires, they need to be on the edge slightly to catch the eye. I know they dont need to be racing weight and hyper but I'm sure Phillips himself will agree they are far too heavy in the hand as they even look it. I know pic's can be deceiving but not that much I doubt. At the end of the day only the man whos pigeons they are can decide what he wants to do with them and the more opinions the more ideas he has to work with. Birds are a credit though and his hard work shows through in the health and condition thats for sure. Hope my opinion didn't cause any offence but just being honest!

I would but not too drastic, get them looking really sharp then they will stand like monuments wing butts out etc.

Think you should get them on the depuritive for a week they are all over weight for my eye. Having said that they are some nice birds! The birds in pic's 7 & 8 do it for me though

Flyin Couriers £25 for up to 4 birds and £2.50 per bird there after. Not only cheaper but a fantastic friendly service. Give them a try you wont be disapointed!

Never a truer word spoken but by allowing this thread to run I'm sure Richard is picking up ideas and also letting people aire their views which is what its all about. I know if it was my site I would be all ears as if the majority voted with their feet then the site is in trouble.
