Looks like sales of the RP will be going up then! -
Dogeon what camera did you use to take those pics? Quality is excelent and if you have a spare hour or so you can take some of mine. I will even make tea! Id say No1 is a racing eye, not too sure about anything else with it, No2 has most breeding potential and No's 3, 4 and 5 are good racing eye's? Take that with a pinch of salt though as to me eyesign is pie in the sky but from my limited knowledge thats what I think. Cant wait to see what the experts make of them. Excelent post!

Have tried it yes, 1 section with and 1 section without and to be honest couldn't see a difference. Would I buy it again? No!

Well then basically we are all singing from the same hymn sheet, but it will all come to nothing and things will continue to decline at the same if not faster rate of knots! Even the signing of the petition to reinstate Karen James which costs nothing and no need to get out of the arm chair to do isn't exactly bursting at the seams, and that could prove a point, if every member signed it we would soon see if they have any intention of listening to the masses. Lets face it there isnt anyone out there in this game that doesnt know she would take some sort of replacing if at all possible yet still most cant be bothered. -
Been there and done all that thanks, too many old people in the game for change and as you say even more cant be bothered's. Personally I think its doomed. Glad there is an alternative but bet it will fall on deaf ears by all the I dont care's. Appathy the key to success! NOT!!

Your right Roland everything is just hot air! lets hope that the R.P.R.A carry on the way they do eh! Tell you what, it will save me a fortune as there will be no pigeon racing as we know it in the not to distant future so that will be a whole lot of expence out of the way. Why is the R.P.R.A renting premises then, when on an earlier post they are said to be renting out a property? That was supposed to generate income I'm led to believe? Why are transfers £1.50 for 12 rings? I agree they now cover postage, but even some discount there with the use of a franking machine eh! Gone are the triple page forms which must of cost a few bob, but were free, only to be replaced by any standard piece of paper which you can print off yourself but still at the new cost? More money making. Now it has come to light on here that a smaller organisation which gets less of a discount than the Mighty R.P.R.A can sell rings 10p cheaper but probably still more than covers its costs! Cost of membership alone has doubled yet we dont see a better Union just the same old crap. You have your views on it and I will have mine, as I said earlier on a post this hobby is a rip off from top to bottom. We as fanciers make lots of money for charity just to have a little picture of the "Old School" wearing a suit and tie trying to look good in some old stagers mag it seems, and they think that is good for the sport! Its a bloody joke. Charity is needed at home even if it is just enough to throw a tarpaulin over the roof of the Reddings to stop the valuble transfers from getting soggy! Where is all this money going anyway? Cant wait to see the end of year ballance sheet as we must be by now one of the richest organisations in this country! One loft race, future of the sport fund! What future? I dont see it paving the way to keeping its current membership happy let alone drawing in more new blood to the hobby. Time for change wholesale, no getting away from it really is there when you look at the real picture. Two quick examples of my experience with the people of the Reddings. Met Peter Bryant at the One loft race loft at birtsmorton once when delivering some birds there, he didn't really want to say hello even but obviously felt he had to being as I had made the effort. Didnt even give a glance to the people I was with even though they also help pay his wages! Looking back I should of pulled that nice gold tie of his tight round his neck for all the good he's done. Stood there listening to him opened my eyes, as Jeremy and his father were bringing to his attention a problem with the roof on the loft and all he wanted to talk about was his new car provided by the R.P.R.A well not them but us the membership! Tells you something that straight away. The other dealing with someone from the reddings was Karen James. She reported a young pigeon of my sons that had dropped in her loft on a bad race. I spoke to her on the phone and had arranged for my friend to collect the bird the following friday as she would be passing on the way to my place. Well Karen had other ideas, obviously thinking the sooner the bird gets back to its original loft the better and without anyone knowing the next morning my son had his bird back delivered by hand by Karen herself. She wouldn't except anything for her kindness and that I just about think sums up the difference in the clients that work there. Karen if you do ever read this your good deed paid off as the pigeon is still here, has never made a mistake since in 2 seasons and is a multiple card winner. Thank you from myself and John. As for Peter Bryant, Try pulling your tie tighter till your lips turn blue, your an ignorant man and money orientated simple as that

Criticism is Constructive, Competion is Healthy! Its not wrong, why pay more for less when there is an alternative? Every which way you turn in this hobby is another "rip off" its rife from Club to R.P.R.A. Headquaters and all points in between. If the Union was as strong a ship as the "Old School" thinks why are so many people moaning about how its run? Now to get back to the point they go and sack the best worker they have! If it was all so hunky dory on their doorstep then nothing could or would of been said. I tell you now every fancier in the country should sign that petition if only to prove a point we WILL BE LISTENED TO! And if we are not then it must be time to choose an alternative -

Tommy Hibbs who I'm sure you know Vic once told me that the "old school" will either have to change or they will go under. Do you have a modern out look on things pigeon racing wise or are you "Old School"? -

No thanks needed at all I have seen via this site things you have done to raise money for worthy causes not to mention the things you have done to help others. If there were more like you in the world I have no doubt it would be a better place. Somehow I dont find you even mildly attractive though, cant understand why lol
-
Just as a matter of interest Vic what do you do for charity? Hope its lots as I dont know the "High Heeler" personally but like me I bet you cant hold a candle to him eh!

Maybe your right, but with the backing of the membership, plus when her points get looked into and found to be true they should think again? If this lot don't listen whats needed is a new modern fresh Union for all to join and let the old stagers get on with it cause at the rate they are going they will have nothing left to command in the not to distant future. Sad but none the less true! So all you people get and sign the petition to save one of the best at R.P.R.A Headquaters cause it will be no good saying we have lost one of the best at a later date. This is certainly one way to see if they do listen to the membership so get to it and we will soon see! -
Have you got any "Scotch Kings" there?
