gorsy bank lofts

:-/eva tried mixing creosote/engine oil ??????

hi all, my lofts need a make over, trouble is one has been varnished in past and is flaking off, tried covering it with creosote without much luck also tried that water based fence paint that dont last long. anyone tried anything that might cover and last??? dont really want gloss paint. i have 70 ft of loft to cover so a fair bit to do atb lyndon :-/

depends on what suits you and your set up, i repair my stock hens to racing cocks and stock cocks to racing hens, race them all on widowhood but in different feds, then partners always at home. helps if you have identical nest boxes and sections so stock go to same box in race section regards lyndon

had something simular years ago. *expletive removed* next door complained pigeons sh** on his washing. complained to council 3 times i recorded him putting corn out to try to tice them over but ended up with garden full of wild birds (which i recorded him feeding and them sitting on his washing) council came again and i showed him the footage he was outraged and told neighbour if he called them out again without cause he would be fined for all visits. (this really pissed him off). :'( months later he said i had rats and they had dug a hole into his garden from my side. pest control came out confirmed it was a bees nest hole and it was illegal to disturb it. i recorded him filling hole called council guess what *expletive removed* got fined.pissed me off at time but revenge was sweet. my advice is record what you are doing and prove your birds not a problem save it till you need it, courts dont like being made fools of. bare in mind he may be recording you so give him no ammo. atb lyndon

in a few weeks time i will have about 3 prs of proven producers if you want them good home only. they are old 8-10yo they have bred countless winners but are now not filling very well some laying one egg just took another round off them for stock for myself to replace these. you can have them for free anything you get from them will do you good just pay carriage. they will be widies and vander weyers. regards lyndon

have had no problem whatsoever,and dont see why i would, drum still turns mechanically with or without them 90% of club members using them now with no probs,know there is sour grapes with some who have paid £40 to have theres done b4 these came out,some seem to want to trash idea. you can also remove these if you know what tour doing which you cant with full conversion from llinells ect. regards lyndon

brought 12 inserts from you at blackpool, put 4 in first 4 chambers of 3 clocks,so thats 3 clocks converted for half the price of having one done at llinells.no problems with them whatsoever,best money ive spent in years. lyndon

might be worth considering buying a gsm romote dial alarm works off car battery and dials pre set phone numbers when set off can be set /un set via key fob or mobile phone. giving you heads up someone is at lofts this is what i have had to have works great and peace of mind for around £150.

how two faced of rspb i know eagle owls love killing other raptors so hope it gets very fat. as its a european eagle owl. thats protected by the rspbs own rules,bet thats when it suits them though. ought to lobby them and get more released.after all they were native here. lyndon
