no ive had it since 2007 i had some new lambs about and they were setting it off so i removed sensors temporarilly thats when they hit, they just twisted the cameras round so they faced away. sensors are now set correctly higher up. lyndon

cameras are useless unless you want to watch you birds disappear after there gone, i have a remote alarm system, which rings upto 5 numbers when activated via pir sensors or door contacts. runs off car battery or mains, so is ideal for allotments etc. can be set or deactivated by phone too. costs around £150 but will last years and good peace of mind. anyone activating will have no idea they have been detected so giving you the chance to apprehend them. lyndon

for 2 yrs running ive had 2 cocks pair together,paired them to hens early on reared young,then when on widowhood paired to each other,neither flew very well untill i seperated them into different sections then they took to hens again one tried to pair to a different cock so he is no longer here. i also know of a fancier in the 80s who seperated his birds for 3 yrs and many cocks paired together, i had 3 cocks when he finally packed up and out of the 3 cocks 1 would never pair to a hen. lyndon

very simular,to ones in picture were known as natural boxes, will measure them or if i can work it out put picture up for you. may need of cleaning up or coat of paint,they are still on boxes but boxes are not up to much. not sure how many i have in barn but still using 9 of them. can be opened fully by using turn buttons or hinged onto boxes.

i put 3 pairs together, 10th dec that i wanted extra ybs out of this yr all laid within 12 days and 5 out of 6 eggs have now hatched. these are old birds,not previously paired together no lights on or heating. so i guess if they want to go down they will (would not have paired within last fortnight though)
