i have got 37 pigeons home out of 54 just got a phone call one of my birds found from todays race only leg left found slammanan near airdrie the bloody hawks are every where

lost 15 pigeons the first 2 weeks of tranning due to percy got some home tails missing holes in side of the breasts i think they took to long to clear giving percy time to pick them of only lost 2 since then on last weeks race but our fed is flying east just now with the glasgow fed i think when we turn south we will start to get losses 2

i had 30 tosses before 1st race ranging from 12 miles to 45 miles tranned them with old birds that where going across channel

i have not lost a young bird tranning or racing in 5 weeks gave them a 2 day coarse of canker as i do every month and lost 2 on the transporter toss on tue and 2 on private toss on wed from livingstone is it hawks or wires or the canker treatment who knows ps these birds have had 3 tosses a week and every race

glasgow fed at dunbar yesterday going by what i have been told great race with great returns i got all my birds home sent 25 with glasgow and 37 with renfrewshire well done the race controler and convoyer got it spot on with early libaration

now got 59 from 60 all round the clubs seem to be having good returns

we feed monday 2 thursday breeding mix in morning widohood in afternoon thursday afternoon and friday geri plus each day they get penuts and trapping mix when calling them in homaform every other day
