Clocked my Alencon north sect winner from last year at 04.46 this morning. Only 3 birds in clock station this morning. So provisional 3rd sect and silver award. Total elation

The show went very well today,running alongside the fancy pigeons it was well attended. A lot of old and new faces were their having a pint and a blether,which is what everit is all about besides raising funds. I would like to thank all who helped organise the event,and all who attended. Best in show went to E&N Yule,who had a great day,winning 8 out of 10 classes,well done guys. G&C Rae and Michael Main won the other two. Sorry I have no pics as I was so busy but the local press were in attendance so one or two pics should be in shortly. I see you've had good year. I seperate now and onto natural light and feed as normal. Don't try to push them next and don't worry about held flights. Wait till 2 year olds and it will pay you well. I've not scored with them as yearlings regardless whether they have completed moult. Lost the best in fact. But as old birds timed out to Alencon 610mls(6th north sect) 3rd 5th Maidstone and 1st Clermont etc. advice be patient !!! Ps;I don't pair till February 14th,found this plenty of time for darkies,weening mid April
