i agree with mike on a few at a time,they seem to keep away from the big batches and come home by them selves,usually before the main batch.

Not saying anythink wrong about you sean,as i have only just read your trouble you have had on the pigeon you have bought .Have you recieved it yet as she looked a real cracker.

Barley if used correctly can be a leathel weapon on sprint races,especially with young birds,and it does not do them any harm or problems which some people seem to say,they dont use it because of all the old wives tales and scare mongorers there is in the sport.

ive had some very good latebreds win as yearlings all the way upto combine level without even seeing a basket in there first year,but they came off pigeons that were top breeders of winners.

no secret that stuart,most fanciers choose sprinters this way,what staff was was a good breeder and dedicated fancier plus top of the tree stock man,you dont learn that over night,some never learn at all its bred into you ,youve rarther got it or you havnt.Les

i use kids multivits,buy them from superdrug,cheap aswell,whats good for humans is definatly okay for pigeons.

I use barley and hormoform with haiths red band conditioner,plus crush a lemon it there water,they look very well on this feeding and no blue skin,plus the hens are already proud as peacocks.

i really do think this hen will breed some fast pigeons as i bought this hen as a squeeker along with the other grizzles but sold them all together as 1 lot,she is a bargain at that price.Les
