  1. mines is completely closed in apart from vents,have a corridor and open the main doors on good dry days,i think it depends a lot on the way your loft is facing jmo

  4. since starting to fly roundabout in 2003 when the young leave the nest and the birds are split have always cleaned out the nestbowl and gave them a clean one to race to,does anyone fly their widowhood/roundabout to the old nest still intact,i've had my fair share of prizes with the clean bowl but this was just to get other fanciers thoughts so i can decide for this year
  5. always feed clay blocks when their rearing young grit/minerals/calcium all in these blocks and the birds go daft for them,used to use them cheap pink pickstones years ago but got problems with the birds scouring,tasted them myself and they were laden with salt not good imo if you want to supply salt get a cattle salt lick and put it on your landing board for the birds if and when required

  11. probably the reason she was late back is that she's probably went to ground damaging herself in the process and waited,it's poss she lost the feathers whilst going to ground i,e into trees,bushes etc but more likely the bop has hit her and she's hit the ground giving herself a sore one,give her a couple of days and she should come round

  19. looked at sedochol at the murray and mills stall at blackpool but what put me off was it had a different name then a label with sedochol printed on it stuck to the bottle i'm sure the original stuff's name started with an R but i'm not sure,so what is sedochol? can anyone throw any light cos i'm oblivious
  20. comes in a 1 pill treatment aswell turns the dropping orangey the next day then back to normal use them loads of times,use the pill form for racers and the powder form for stock birds-tkk
