  1. I don't have to sit on a hot poker to know I don't want to try it youngboy. Mind, 'Try What' just what is the point or what is one trying to do, or achieve? Be nice to hear your views on this and what and why of course. Only one answer to 'Why' and that is 'Because... so let's hear from you. Most results in too many churches being fouled up, and crap being sold, and the inevitable quick downward trends in so many ways or the pigeon.
  2. Me personally, I would choose between three.... Strain if perferred, and to excell at any and all distances would be Bussearts without a shadow of doubt. Two names on top on my list if happy just up to 500 miles, (and lets face it any and every bird is capable of that... if not then you will only have good losses) would be John at Formula lofts and / or Steve Girdwood youngsters.
  3. Good to hear, that's far more in keeping with the 'Jock' we know ;D ;D. Threathen to show him what's under the kilt too.... You will get a replacement anyway while yours is being fixed... but... gosh the thought of even removing the sporan will bring beds of sweat to his face lol ;D ;D

  5. Not legal, just a fobb off.
  6. Don't need insurance. Any warrenty will cover that! The mere fact that it isn't a year old, or in some cases a 6 months old says that by law they have to sort it out pronto. :-/ Just Google in 'Know your rights and take that along and tell them less of the bull C$ap. Legally they have to sort it mucker. Strueth never thought I'd see tha day a Scotsman was diddled and fobbed off so easily ... May move up there and set up a buisness after all lol
  7. Theory and practic are worlds apart as much know... if sometimes hard to accept lol. All I can imagine i that this Cock bird and hen bird are world beaters, and winners of many races and trophies (and are the only winners in the loft) ... Why else would one want to tamper? :-/ If not will most likely end up with a loft full of culls.
  8. Why? :-/ and for what purpose? :-/ I take it haven't you any other cockbirds then?
  9. Yep would have been short lived eh! 50? :-/ Mind he can't afford to be at anything ... might have to shell out the £4million eh!
  10. So sad.... makes most of ours worries pale in comparrison. Nothing can be worst than bury your child. My deepest sympathy for all the family and friends.
  11. Don't care about his personal life. Not who he is banging. It is the example set as a Role Model. Also Capello sorting out the 'Prima Donna's. It is bad enough getting caught agree, but he knew that he would, like most think it won't be them getting caught. Now regardless what one thinks, Robbie Keene is a great role model. Roy Keen just an ignorant bully, and a coward to boot. Hits 13 year old with dog leashes... runs from Patrick Viera etc and any one that stood up to him. Sulked and demanded limelight etc. above the Irish Team, and then wouldn't play... give us a break. So regardless of the rights and rights, an dthe only right one tries to muster up for John Terry is that he is a great player. So what, does that mean his missis is hurting less. That his kids won't take a ribbing and ....
  12. Favourite is http://www.comanco-web.com/discuspro/ the best and greatest ever. with http://www.comanco-web.com/phpBB3/index.php now running, but can’t seem to get back the old ‘Buzz’ still that happens when left to slip. Pigeonbasic, pigeon globe, Pigeon Chat, Alberta Classic and Austrailia’s best site anywhere are viewded, but only Alberta do I post sometime. Pigeon Chat just the once.
  13. That try wasn't disallowed for a knock on Paul, it was because it wasn't actually touched down. Yes that is what makes winners and losers, mistakes often, and touches of oppertunism, and a digit of class or brilliance. But isn't that why we have hope for the next game ... If only! :-/ The try Wales got was because of THREE consecretive bad decisions by the REF in a row. Unbelievably so at that! Plus needlessly warning the English scrum for things that they hadn't done, besides the lecture of what they should do and what he expected them to do! Never heard the likes before, no place for it and cof course certainly should ever have happen or been said - curtailing the players!. Unbelievably so at that also!
  14. Bakes Ferdindand was done for NOT taking the test ... Read into that what you wish. I believe what you say, but that was BEFORE Cappelo's time and everyone had to start of with a clean slate. As for Wales beating England, of course that can happen .... Even Scotland too I suppose. ;D ;D A couple of things to remember America clobbered us! And 'Hungry made us realise we weren't even second class, let alone the reportedly 'Tops'. Which is strange because from the World Cup in 1938 we'd never done nothing but live on past glories that didn't, hadn't actually happen. Be nice I suppose for Wales to win the group and England be second... have a little more chance of both getting through then.
  15. Good chance for Wales - at last - to being going with them too, which has to be good.
  16. (You'll never look at the game the same way again!) Starting in 1941, an increasing number of British Airmen found themselves as the involuntary guests of the Third Reich, and the Crown was casting about for ways and means to facilitate their escape... Now obviously, one of the most helpful aids to that end is a useful and accurate map, one showing not only where stuff was, but also showing the locations of 'safe houses' where a POW on-the-lam could go for food and shelter. Paper maps had some real drawbacks -- they make a lot of noise when you open and fold them, they wear out rapidly, and if they get wet, they turn into mush. Someone in MI-5 (similar to America 's OSS ) got the idea of printing escape maps on silk. It's durable, can be scrunched-up into tiny wads, and unfolded as many times as needed, and makes no noise whatsoever. At that time, there was only one manufacturer in Great Britain that had perfected the technology of printing on silk, and that was John Waddington, Ltd. When approached by the government, the firm was only too happy to do its bit for the war effort. By pure coincidence, Waddington was also the U.K. Licensee for the popular American board game, Monopoly. As it happened, 'games and pastimes' was a category of item qualified for insertion into 'CARE packages', dispatched by the International Red Cross to prisoners of war. Under the strictest of secrecy, in a securely guarded and inaccessible old workshop on the grounds of Waddington's, a group of sworn-to-secrecy employees began mass-producing escape maps, keyed to each region of Germany or Italy where Allied POW camps were regional system). When processed, these maps could be folded into such tiny dots that they would actually fit inside a Monopoly playing piece. As long as they were at it, the clever workmen at Waddington's also managed to add: 1. A playing token, containing a small magnetic compass 2. A two-part metal file that could easily be screwed together 3. Useful amounts of genuine high-denomination German, Italian, and French currency, hidden within the piles of Monopoly money! British and American air crews were advised, before taking off on their first mission, how to identify a 'rigged' Monopoly set -- by means of a tiny red dot, one cleverly rigged to look like an ordinary printing glitch, located in the corner of the Free Parking square. Of the estimated 35,000 Allied POWS who successfully escaped, an estimated one-third were aided in their flight by the rigged Monopoly sets.. Everyone who did so was sworn to secrecy indefinitely, since the British Government might want to use this highly successful ruse in still another, future war. The story wasn't declassified until 2007, when the surviving craftsmen from Waddington's, as well as the firm itself, were finally honored in a public ceremony. It's always nice when you can play that 'Get Out of Jail' Free' card! I realize most of you are (probably) too young to have any personal connection to WWII (Dec. '41 to Aug. '45), but this is still interesting. Story verification: http://blogs.wsj.com/informedreader/2007/11/19/wwii-pows-perk-monopoly-with-real-money/
  17. Well it is bigger than our Feds top flyer. He has two section loft of 7 x 6 foot. Keeps 12 pairs. Flys naturual and 24 - 30 perhaps youngsters. Has done now for 47 years, and still they have to perform to ge a perch / nest box. Is so sucessful he gves the fellow, that bred these bussearts, youngsters back each season.
  18. Or Wardel. Anyone remember him? Used to fly a very good pigeon in the late 40's 50's and 60's. Had some great results from Barcelona I believe. Think it may well have been from Sidcup manor.
  19. You certainly have some good memories stored already. Best of everything to the both of you. Think you look dapper and very smart Tam... Yep you brush up well lol ;D
  20. Owen, does Baytril deteriate the same as? :-/
  21. So he sheds a few tears because his has lost his armband eh! Should have shed a few for his missis and kids when he lost their trust and admiration, and they lost a part of a Husband and father. Mind we want him at S. Africa, and all being well will be there.
  22. Come of it Paul.... For starters look at that first try you scored in the second half! Three times the Ref stopped and gave the Welsh another chance because England had won it.... Once penalising for rubbish when the Welsh collapsed the scrum ... then twice for nothing lol. Then stated our flanker had cone 'Round' when in fact, as the Commentated stated especially after the replays he hadn't as much as moved. Then when our player dived over and goyt the ball - awarded the penalty, when in fact that also was a fair and ligitamate move. It had cleared, the Welsh did have it, and the player wone it fairly. So those are the reasons, and there were several, why Wales got the bit between their teeth. Wales could play the English as simple as that... yes we had some lean spells as there always is. But remember this was a seasoned and expierenced Welsh side, against an up and coming side still gelling together. Like I said, England are on the way up, and will soon be dominate again.
  23. That's the Welsh way of spelling it lol ;D
  24. England to dominate. England off to another great run acculimating in the World cup sucess again. Since Martin has took ( Mind Ashton did a good job all things cosider, especially building a new side) over had teething problems, not least with 'Off Side' rules and some harsh penalties I think. But if they hold themselve back a mite, the ref won't be able to sway too much. Now most oldies are gone, a new regime is about to start.
