  1. Well I was certainly afraid I was going to be right after the first half. Many reasons could be put forward as to why the second halfwasn’t even worst for the Welsh. But this would unfairly distract from the fighting tenacity. Think they not only played for the country second half, but for themselves and above all their places. Well done the Welsh in defeat. I know the ‘Taffies’ will be proud of you. That joker Jonathon demeaned the other sides saying that many regarded Wales as the biggest threat to the French winning the title, as they only have England to play in real terms. The Plonker! So I eat my words, and will buy Paul a pint anyway.
  2. Anyway I'm of to bed to watch it... as I am knackered Was up at four to help a mate out. Twice I drove to Runcorn and back. 12 hours, too old for it really lol But hopefully I will be getting some stick tomorrow if Wales prove me wrong :-/ :o :
  3. Well, I feel that the 'Big Boys' will repay in full sorry to say. May well be the same score in reverse. Can't see Wales keeping the defficite under 18 at least. Wales are as good as the will ever be in the forseeable future... and can't step up or improve. About the same standards aslast season. Need inspiration and tight control! Need a couple to get to grips and make the play, and sorry to say, quite frankly that haven't. Mind I will be the first to buy Strapper a pint, and wish Wales every sucess of course, and hope I'm wrongs.... but just can't see it! Both me being wrong, and Wales being able to stand up to the mark and win. Hope I'm way of and so very wrong ...
  4. Don't know if K. Hurst flew his bussearts over the 1000 miler, have a feeling he timed in from Rome so to speak. I know my mate Kev Shipley timed in his Bussearts he had from him. I also know the best distance flyer in our Fed and Amalga dominates with Bussearts. Won the last 2 - 3 by quite a distance3 from Lerwicke, and year before - usually Thurso too. Same birds show up every week at the sprint and Middle. So go figure, they obviously do all and any distance , and many have one the Thousand miler.
  5. Do I think personally there will be another George :-/ No! Not only a world class racing man, but must be the best, if not then in top three of all time stockman. But there are - to me, only the following that were gifted with both abilities. Masserella. Schaerlaeckens ... who is not really a strain maker or feather merchant. Jansenns combined of course, because they all brought a gift and a different angle to their dad. The jury is out, but looking good, for another great Busseart flyer, Ron Williamson. Yes many names of Old from Gits Gurnay Emiloe etc. etc. Barker etc. But they had their chance and money, and none have done like George did. Likewise many excell at one or the other, but as both :-/ Has to be George the best of all time for me!
  6. Well his favourite racer of all was in fact the De 85. This bird, a Blue Chequer Cock, won the 'Asduif Fond' championship award in 1968. after scoring amazingly in Nationals. This bird actually scored 58%! A feat unheard of before, and not achieved since. the following year he never hit the wires, but returned having been very badly shot, and died three days later.
  7. True, It was also documented that he also had mated birds he'd never seen, but knew the history, and sold on without even seeing the youngsters that weere winners. What was the bird Gearge said was the best he ever had!
  8. Exactly, which made him very unpopular in Belguim, hence why they won't spout about his records achieved, and still held there.
  9. Ok George, whom did George buy his founding stock from after the war? :-/
  10. Its true Luella Busschaerts are a fraction of the price but if your pal paid that little bit extra he would do murder, the Pearson and Dransfield Busschaerts are 10 times better. My speciallist subject on mastermind was Remi George Busschaert.Ask me any question on George Sorry, have to disagree. He flies the best, and wins and is tops. A shrewed buisness brain and has done all the eating. Outside of Louella the best are Turners without a shaddow of doubt. To win say lerwicke Almagation by over 2 hours from the eicetser birds etc. by two hours, two seasons running and nigh ever distance as such is prove. Had the pick of Frankie Georges including Morning Cloud etc. and none as good as Louella's Bussearts. Says now he has the best birds he has ever had. Paying for a 'Nmae' doesn't improvethe birds. Louella's preformances obtained are the proof of the eating. Besides MOST flying 'Strains' that excelled bought of Louella... Names would rather state a 'Name' instead for selling purposes. Know quite a few 'Feather' merchants selling a 'Name' and winning with other birds, which they don't, aren't and won't sell.
  11. Well our Fed's top flyer, in the Fed and Alga, and certainly at the distance, breeds so many, about 24 y/b's and as I've said before, returns spare youngsters etc. each season to the original guy he had thes off. Yes of course, as alwas gives to any needy fancier. This year he's only breeding 12 tops... buying again from Louella as he needs introduction again he feels. Yes has also very often bought in from there and had great results. Yes has tried others over the last 47 years, but none he says have ever been anywhere near as good as the Bussearts. Yes he is in the position to buy he best. But as he says, Louella's are a fraction onf the price and are as good as any. Yes the other sauce he started last time with devastioning effects were intro's from a good fancier in Newark.
  12. http://www.schaerlaeckens.com/upload/part09.htm http://schaerlaeckens.mikehopman.nl/pages/leesartikel.php?id=126 There are many more if you google these.
  13. If anyone wants some great reads and photo's of Gearge, and his mates who flew, plus methods etc. pm me your Email address. Have seen most articles like on here and others times. But these are realy different and rare. Only ever know of the one that has them. A Jimmy Ried, now in B.C. Canada, formerly of Scotland.
  14. Yep, just means opening a cuboard for them to pop out when needed. A vast amount of 'Newbies' never have, or get that' So yes Bakes has Stan the Man etc. and and few other, Willow undoubtedly similar etc. Wasn't really meant for those being nutured and steadily took along. More for the many that don't have, and club is too small, or members to egoisticall to only impart codswallop. But then of course you two are able to appreciate that because you have 'Good Hands' to guide you. Also, especially in Canada as such, you next club member may be 40 miles away etc.
  15. Think it must have been noticed. Think - personally it is very practical and informative for any new starter.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYoTJItSPt0 Hope you enjoy. They were the leaders in 'Night Flying pigeons too. In WW2 they let pigeons out at over 5000 feet at night, and these delivered mesages, homoing upto 2 - 300 miles. They thought they were just at the beginning in thi regards, but fortunately the war ended, and sadly perhaps much more about the greatness of our feathered friends was lost.
  17. http://test.crpu.ca/files/32689250CRPUBeginnersGuide.pdf Think if you download this first off, and read well, much more as it comes up will be understandabl. Good luck
  18. Yep, had uninstalled and then downloaded the 'Green' one. 637, cleaned them up. Thanks.
  19. Will try again. When uninstalling they came up with a 'Free 12 Months' if I purchased another software lol
  20. Well - like the others - found 557... cleaned 25, wants paying for the rest to be done :-/ So much for free eh! Saw an interesting pice relating fom the 'Editor' and didn't rate it saying that everything it did you could do yourselve with Task Manager / Defrage etc. etc. But that is only ll well and good if you know what is what. So the plonker knows... But this plonker doesn't :-/ ;D ;D ;D
  21. Strange that matey. I have downloaded a few over the last few days ... lost me bottle and stopped when seeing them mount up. Then any installed, I uninstalled them. Must give this a whirl.
  22. Electric Fence. Google Countrystoresdirect. Cheap, simple, very helpfull and problem solved before you have one. Also I like the idea of the Glue. Has anyone tried it for mice and rats. I 've been catching a few mice from time to time. Constantly reset traps of course. Wonder if I'd get more :-/ Get Sooner :-/ Do I miss any Yep must do.
  23. Moxidectin: A member of the Milbemycin family, Moxidectin is a highly effective product that provides prolonged protection against re-infestation. Effective against hairworms, roundworms and external parasites. It seems to be a relatively safe product that is used in the water and can be given during the breeding, moulting and racing seasons. Hope this helps....
  24. Would have thought a look at the prescription in side, which would be there for guide lines. ;D ;D Now back to moaning about the Feds... and the FBI too. :-/ ;D ;D
  25. Still haven't let them have a nest box. Still separated. Yes I mated3 - 5 pairs up at a time, and separated them after 3 - 5 days when seemingly happy. Was in a different compartment come Avery. So when I put them together they should, hopefully, settle easierly. Wasn't going to use nest bowls a said. Definitely won't now. Will have a spare piece of ply with back and sided with 4-inch ply, on polystyrene, hemmed in. Either bricks or paving bricks which ever is higher when on side at right angles to allow a good depth of tobacco stalks. Food for thought regards drinkers freezing. Would a piece of 1 inch polystyrene covered complete with ply, perhaps even 2-3 inch sides too, be affective? Have only have say 2 days top frozen water, but then again I am foretunate to be here and replace if needs be,
