If one has time, especially this time of year, offer them as wide and diverse assorment of feed as possible... the first cleaned up is what they were / are lacking. So feed that mainly that the next days etc. and so on. Yes of course you must know the 'Make up' of the seed bean or pea etc. to be able to relate to what if anything thay have a deffincey of, if you want to add 'Supermarket treatment'. Mind, a wide and Varied diet is often basically good enough with healthy birds. Just the cost conscience feeds may be lacking - probably not though unless too much barley is offered and fed, they get fat via over eating trying to get what barley has much in it's properties that they need for them. - One thing the additives make up from the super markets make up for a tight cost effective diet. Probably don't. But a darn site more effective cost wise that 'Brands' doing the same for you.

Remember that is why Dean Pallet packed up racing. As he has moved to the west of the Fed etc. HE knew he wouldn't win much, if any thing again! .... so as he reputedly says 'If I'm selling and RACING, I have to be winning ....' However, the good flyers in GOOD position win / won with his' SVR birds AFTER he had packed up racing ... just wasn't going to be him winning with his birds .

As daft as it may sound - not for the yanks of course, but a Texas court has got involved and has stop it all again.... back to status qua. Money eh! Now I feel for the owners who will lose £100,000,000. I also think the fans are a disgrace. Sure they put their money in with the tickets etc. but not £3 - 400,000,000 million between them in years galore. And then have the gall to tell the clock maker how to make a clock. Would have been, and would be, a lot better to rally around and get behind the yanks, the team. Granted the Rafa situation was different and the fans there may have a right to some degree of a 'Say So'. Like the Scots ought to get behind their’ national coach and team and cheer them through thick and thin regardless. Would do wonders that.... Might even let a poor national rise to the status of getting into the European tournament! Nothing to lose and everything to gain really! Know of lofts started up with their birds and more than exelled. Know a great fancier who after 47 years is still buying in from Louella to inject vitality to his birds. Of course the % of winners are low etc. But likewise wise if the top 20 fanciers birds sold on in the UK are added up together, their would be no doubt at least as Bad - or good - as louellas. Indeed I'wager Louella's % would be better.
