    unikon

How much longer can Unikon be allowed to go on, before answering questions about all these's problems members are having?????. and i dont mean Mr R KNIGHT, AS HE IS AFTER ALL ONLY A SALESMAN, I am personally still waiting for a answer from him from last year, he said he would phone me back after my lastest problem we had with Unikon, and as of this post, !!!!!! no still nothing, i am surprised 'NO' spoke to him in Blackpool last year, and his response was to get the German rep to speak to me, but guess what, he was having his lunch. We bought the system 2 years ago and have problems ever year since, this year already a members base station showed up as low battery, and we were told the life expectantcy was between 5 and 10 years, dont get me wrong Dougie Bald has been more than helpful in all matters that we have approached him with by replacing either pocket clocks or base stations, but members are looking for answers, wondering if its their clock next?????
  4. this happened twice last year in our club, they replaced the pocket clock, but i am still awaiting a definitive answer from Ray Knight, whom i spoke to at Blackpool and evn he didnt know what was wrong with it????
  5. SU08AB 3069, this bird came in today , down in body, but recovering well.
  6. There seems to be a lot of 'strange 'things happening up there?, hope i never become this cynical
  7. I take it by your response that you are/were a member of the Inveruie club at this time??, i didnt say it was Dougie Bolton 'alone' who allowed myself basketing facilities, but with much thanks to him!!!, also i made contact with the PRO at the time a Mr G McBain who intimated to myself that i was unlikely to gain entry to any of the Aberdeen/Peterhead clubs because of my location, to be honest i dont know if i even applied to them or not??, But coming from the central belt to relocate thru my work to the north of Scotland, having No Idea where any of the GREAT POSITIONS lay, your right THE MIND DOES BOGGLE!!!
  8. i moved to Pittmedden (just outside of Ellon, Aberdeenshire) some years ago and could not gain entry to any clubs in the surrounding area, as i was not in their boundry??. 'no mans land i was told' i eventually gained entry to the Inverurie club, with much thanks to their secretary at the time, Doug Bolton, about 15 miles from my loft, but could only fly for postions within the FED, no club positions
  9. I would like to express my thanks to fellow member Mr. D Henderson, Blyth, Northumberland for reporting a pigeon of mine, not only my bird, but also that he had 9 Scottish birds that he cared for, not only caring for these birds he also passed them on to a Mr Duthie of Dundee to bring back to Scotland last Thursday, I came home from work today to be greeted by this bird, wondering why she could not gain entry to the young bird loft, if only more fanciers were more like this gentleman, the sport would be in a much better place, thanks again.

  13. what concerns me is the lack of ANY response fron unikon
  14. can you get Darren to speak to me aswell,(if he has the answer) we had this problem over 8 WEEKS AGO , i was told then, by the top man at unikon they were looking into this, the technicians in Germany were on the case, and he would get back to me as soon as they had an answer, with one race to go this season what i have been told , F... ALL
  15. I ve just had two returned from stray centre, lost last week at otterburn, BOTH birds back minus ETS RINGS, lets hope Secretaries look out for these th---fing B------ds
  16. Appreciate the concern, but this info is ready available thru numerous locations , phone book, voters role, etc ,if someone is desperate enough they will find details to anything ,anywhere anytime.
  17. i spoke with dougie bald today after race and he does not know what is causing this problem, ha has been instructed fron unikon to issue a new clock to members who are expeirencing this fault, but he did tell me, that the fault is all coming from a certain batch of clocks
  18. no just one member last time mine this click on link to see arrival print out http://s302.photobucket.com/albums/nn91/Robbie105/?action=view&current=Picture3002.jpg
  19. For the second time this year our club has expierenced a serious malfunction with our unikon systems, everything looks fine , birds marked on a Friday night, clocked in Saturday . but when clock goes to be struck off at club house pigeons are being printed off without any arrival time, a replacment clock is being issued to any fancier expierencing these problems, but our clubs members are fast loosing confidence in this system and can anyone blame them

  21. Surely someone has got it wrong here??? Flying from coldstream into the central belt of scotland (70 miles Approx) we are told its a strong, strong, strong north easterly, first bird in club doing almost 1700 velocity
  22. Does anyone have a contact number for a company called FLIGHTMASTER?, they had a stall at Blackpool.
  23. I think there is clubs out there who are getting this lottery grant and either dont know the restrictions set down by the lottery fund or they are just blatently choosing to ignore them!!! ,they could find themselves if reported to the lottery people having to repay the grant!!!!. If this young lad meets all the requirements set down by the club concerned and has no major outstanding issues, the club under lottery rules should be accepting him
  24. yes a truely generous offer, please add my name to the list
  25. Although having kept racing pigeons for over 30 years, i have yet to meet anyone (general public) who has a good word to say about Feral/street /flying rats pigeons!, although myself have , no malice towards them unless they enter my loft, they do give the Racing ferternity a bad name. We are all tard with the same brush, and unless we distance ourselves from the freal pigeon it will remain as such.
