I'm not surprised in the slightest Stewart. When i visited Keith almost every bird he gave me to handle were top performers or breeders of top performers. I don't make a habit of visiting flyers lofts, but one thing i know is i will find it hard to equal the loft visit i had that day.

I was reading a similar thing on Schaerlaeckens site, he said Vandebeele only likes head wind birds were as Schaerlaeckens likes a tail wind bird.

For the longer races i like to put them together for 30-40 minutes, so the cocks tread. I find they are then more relaxed in the basket.

You should be fine combining treatment as long as the two are compatible, many do it during racing. At this time of year you have time, so no need to combine treatment in my opinion.
