I departed Appleby at 12-50, i hit one shower on the way not that heavy to cause a bad race. i think you are most probably right about the strong wind pushing them up the wrong valley, there are plenty of valleys to go up around them parts.

A race closes at 10pm and reopens at 5am. I clock in at 10.10pm is this a day bird and my time is 10pm or is it a day bird and my time is 10.10pm or is it classed as a second day bird and my time is 5am?
