  1. at the end of the day its only a few members discssing the NFC. im afraid all pigeon racing is in decline and very much doubt that the NFC will be forgotten for ever. you never know when you get established you may even try to win it yourself and i hope you do.and if you did you wouldn't care about the prize money that did or didn't go with 1st OPEN NATIONAL FLYING CLUB.
  2. i'm not in cumbria but the tele-no is 01900817158 or email martin@ghllhead.org. there is a good article on them in the book roads to rome.they had some top performances.haven't read anthying about them for a while.
  3. if you want to win money in the NFC pool them as MR S O'BRIEN (reading) did at bordeaux. +/-£4000,with one entry.class flying. i dont think open prize money should be given, when as we have already discussed the wind dictates the open winner. id class reading as being south,so i don't think for one miute that all southerly members would stop sending.not when you could do an S O'BRIEN.
  4. could you imagine the stick the nfc would then get if they held them because of the wind direction.people in sec L would then feel very hard done by. they really are in a no win situation.
  5. sure you can mobster. http://www.siegelpigeons.com/news/news-06NatWinPt1.html

hi,there is a topic located in the racing pigeon forum.
  8. congratulations,excellent result
  9. save your cash or better still by another bottle of gemthepax.
  10. ok,hows this then. 1st national albi 5063 birds 01/07/06 this pigeon also had 20th national Aurillac against 6,611 birds 10/06/06. a very good pigeon, the pigeon was stolen along with loft mates the follwing week.
  11. sorry i don't understand what you are getting at. from reading reports on belgium distance fanciers,g bolle's breeding seems to come up in lots of very good pigeons.
  12. tony,hope this link works.theNFC sections. http://www.nationalflyingclub.co.uk/Forms/HandBook2005.rtf
  13. i only look to do well in the section, anything else is a bonus.wind decides the open result.
  14. never heard of the breeder, but george bolle is a great racer and breeder.have a look at his website. http://www.bollebelgium.com/
  15. i'd get it trained with your own birds and send it to a race even before the transfer had come back.he has given it to you so its yours to race.the one thing i wouldn't do though is clock it in as it could cause problems if it had a prize.not that id bother but there are some sticklers about in this sport.hope it does you some good not all strays are bad, good look anyway.
  16. at times they are needed.its a fact!!
  17. i thought it was sec E also,then G and then maybe L.

  19. i fully understand what you are saying, lets just hope its back to normal in 2007.
  20. richard if they had gone to sennan cove a lot of lads in sec D would feel the same. they are in a no win situation as far as i see it.
  21. CHALE it is lads.not as far for us nothern boys, but on the line on flight. plus it seems there are 5 old bird races planned for 2007 and the dax international is not one of them.sounds good to me.
  22. good luck with your A level results, hope you get your grades.
