Hope so Lewis, historically a good race (here's hopeing) a few doos away that will have flown national races this season already and I think this does help.
You canny not send because of the above m8,carlin bros, matt white, ken mackay,Alex stobo,Colin Renfrew etc,all these guys sent and won at 500 plus miles on lorries with wicker baskets!!! It's a long winter.
Fellow club mate John has sent 6 pigeons across the pond this year with the SNFC from the 3 races so far,Ypres,Ancenis and the gold cup Alencon,John has won the following positions. Gold cup. 11th sec 44th open 31st sec. The long race. 3rd sec 20th open. Ypres 20th sec 185th open 47 th sec The races are between 450-600 miles John has sent 6 birds and scored with 5 of them which IMO is truly outstanding from a man who started the old bird season with 8 birds for racing,I have put this post up now as John will not be at the last race,JOHN HOUSTON 3 cracking nationals take a bow!!! :partick-thistle-Crest:
Not good m8,unfortunately the SHU had 15 years going down the political route with plenty time, money and effort to basically draw a blank . We can only hope fanciers from the other home nations can come up with a plan B
