would like to thank the members and officials of the above club on behalf of J & J HOOD and JOHN HARWOOD for the smashing night we had in DALRY presenting trophies and sitting on their panel. a special mention for ROBERT BOYCE secretary who although well into his 80s organized the whole thing and also laid on a wonderful spread with lovely home baking which i was told was all prepared by robert,he has been involved with administration in the ayrshire area for decades and has never kept pigeons himself!!!!!!!!!!robert was then made an honary member of the AYRSHIRE FEDERATION and given a medal by SHU president IAN NOBLE. all too soon it was time to say goodnight and head back up the road to campsie,again many thanks to these lads of DALRY and the surrounding area who race in one of scotlands toughest spots and just keep going. :) :)
