For me and this might look a little drastic. One Inland nat Eastbourne as its a good distance for an inland nat it also has great support from the members.Next the gold cup where feds can duplicate from Reims again the distance is ideal for long distance pigeons, and for those members that want a real long one whats wrong with Bourges.Ok this year was a very difficult one but it was the same for all organisations racing from france on that particular day.

Todays long distance pigeons are as good as any long distance pigeons of the past IMO.The biggest challenge they face these days is not mobile phones pylons or radar its the BOPS i think they things are at the root of plenty bad races these days.The vast distances the pigeons have to cover they must come up against them plenty times.Flying in small groups getting scattered every so often must take its toll on them.

I dont think it matters pigeons went to falaise rennes avranches for the first time in days gone by and managed it ok then and crossed at the widest stretch of water.

For me i would like to see one inland nat from Eastbourne as it gets well supported and is an ideal distance for an inland nat imo.I would drop ypres as its only another 50mls further than eastbourne.The Gold cup i would keep it at reims.Clermont for the fed duplication giving its members a 500mls+ race and Bourges as the longest as i think there are a few members of the nat looking for a good long one.
