For me if the doo disnae come from very good ancestors then the chances of it becoming any use is remote but not impossible.

The verheyes were one of the best familys of pigeons that louella introduced into this country.In the mid seventies nearly everybody and there aunty that got them won with them in all parts of the british isles. They won against the best flying into the west of scotland in all weathers and at any velocity fast or slow it didnae matter to them.

I didnea know that jan theelen had so many red pigeons about him but i am not that familiar with his family of pigeons.

Is it not Hagens bros pigeons that jim Hannah has from taylor bros?

After a long time locked up in the loft they can get spooked very easy first time out especially if they cant see outside from the loft but to stay out for 10days is very strange Never heard of it.

Sorry for being a daffty but how much is it for a doo and when and how do they get shipped.?

I am racing natural this year.I dont know about any benefits on the natural? Ive raced roundabout and intend to go back to it as i liked it plus the doos flew ok on it the problem i had was hens pairing up but for this year its the nest game for me.Theres a few guys in this club uddingston that race natural and can hold there own way most in the fed M mcormick for a start.If you can get the roundabout system RIGHT then i think its as good as it gets.JMO

What method do you use to put it in the bath water?

Was reading an article by Dave Allan years ago.He said if you give your pigeons garlic [i think he meant lots]on the run up to the hens laying you would get plenty infertile eggs.Has anybody got any experience of this?

Ive always tried for the best.Ive had a few dissapointments mind you.

I think mine would be charlees theron.I think me her would get on ok.

I think the biggest problem with the homing factor isnae solar flares k factor or x factor.I think its the BOP factor.Ive said for years they are causing more problems than anything else in the pigeon sport.
