Frank i consider myself to have a good sense of direction.I got lost in the centre of Brussels what futtin chance have the doos got.I think Belgium is the wrong place for us Scots tio Race from.

There are far too many old wifes tales told in the pigeon game as far as iam concerned.

For a start john you would need to limit the birdage to for example 3 each.

John you will NEVER get a fair shout at winning it.Pigeon racing has never been a fair game and unfortunatley never will be, for far too many reasons.

If you want a more level playing field in the gold cup race.Then Bourges is the Answer its been proven time and time again that from these Longer Race points the west section acheive there best open positions.So go for Bourges and stick to it.

This must be a scottish thing always looking for to change there national racepoints.Take a look at the big international races in europe Barcelona for a start its been the big race in Europe for donkeys years with about six or seven COUNTRYS taking part and yet you dont see them changing there race points Perpignan Narbonne Marseille pau ETC .One things for sure they dont keep changing and it doesnae suit every country its kept the same over 25,000 at Barcelona this year even guys fro poland having a go at it you dont hear of them trying to change it.

Dont see any problem with Reims there was a good spread of pigeons all over the country last year.I know that we in the west get a raw deal due to terrain wind etc but i think you either except it or chuck it as i dont think continualy changing race points is the answer.

Derek i will say it again no two pigeon races are the same and for me this leige race will sooner or later be a disaster. JMO

To make these claims based on a one off race is ridiculous.This leige race came about due to restrictions of pigeons getting into france.If anybody thinks that it will be the same each year, well i think they want there heed looked .Conditions on the day of the race play the biggest part to what kind of race you get to make these claims about THE FAIREST RACE IN A LONG TIME BECAUSE OF ITS LOCATION IS NONSENSE.Take reims for example last year the snrpc got a bad race from reims but the very next week the snfc had a GREAT RACE.I think the big problem with the pigeon game is the fanciers dont know where the doos are going the doos themselfs dont know where there going for *expletive removed* sake whats going to be gained from going to Leige??a fair race ?? DONT THINK SO.
