hi all 76 away to otterburn 80 odd mile with lanarkshire and must take my hat off to ford motors big budgie brought his birds to the club in a new transit dont think ive seen so much coming out of one van.

with the young bird racing starting this weekend for us in lanarkshire. i'd just like to say the best of luck to every body and enjoy.

with only a few weeks to the first young bird race how's your training program going ours are doing 1/2 an hour morning and evening and at the w/e there getting a toss out of carnwath about 10 mile sat/sun which takes them about 50 mins.

looks like we have one of two left the won missing is the w.gilchrist bird, unfortunatly our team went through the pylons last week and as a result we lost a few from our team.any luck this bird might still return.

yes and they dont even have there own premises but they'll always be made welcome at newmains.

the guy that dieds father is correct and its good that hes came out and said this, we should all be able to take what ever action is required to protect our properties and families especially in this case where 4 balaclavered nutters enter your house,how frightning would that be.

i havnt read all of the above but my thoughts lie along the lines of the 98% rule the best birds made it home all the rest were'nt ready for the race and its the same with every race we sent 8 birds to this race and 6 to this weeks big race and like most other pigeon men we thought the birds were ready lol, the quality is'nt there and when one fancier's timing in at 7pm on race night we should all be in before 11pm. thats my opinion.
