thats right few but going by these rules fewer and the long distance boys in aberdeen dont expect a day bird anyway so it dosnt afect them if i get a bird at half ten it should be clocked at half ten not at five in the morning lets not be silly about this

this is one of the reasons its a crap rule how can a second day bird beat a first day bird crazy

i've said this before on another thread its a stupid rule and should be taken away we only get a handful of these big races if you cant get up through the night and check your loft dont enter these big races leave them for the big boys

what a performance jimmy ive never seen anything like it when a person can do that they must be right into there sport and spend a lot of time with there birds that little bird certainly has a lot of trust in you sir top class

iv'e asked for someone to run it no response thats why i have came up with this suggestion im happy put up posters and collect the names and money for what ive suggested you know i work away billy and dont have the time to orginise a full system but if you or anyone else has an other idea put it up on this thread im in anyway ,just trying to add a bit more fun and excitment to the sport . what have i to call you tam or billy lol

im down on the south coastits a bit over cast but looks like sun is trying to break through you could race birds today no probs if it was like this all the way temperature probably about 15 degrees f 60 degrees c if the same tomorrow we could be racing i think.

a pr man sounds and is a good idea but i think this is a bigger job than what one pr man can do. it is a start though. for example in the clyde valley at one of the garden centre,s the bop people stand in a section with all there birds letting people stroke them and giving donations should the likes of us not be standing with our birds on show and dishing out fliers after all its the same crowd we're trying to pull 50yr olds (and kids) that want to relax in front of a loft while plodding about in the garden.i'd doo it but if someone asked any questions i'd be f****d lol

well what about nominating two birds for the third young bird race first nominated bird home in the east section takes all, two birds per loft £10 a loft nominations most be with me before the second race along with your £10 that gives you the first race to pick from second race is the gamble and third race is where the money is. ideas please

just read the thread on lanarkshire west club and how it works is'nt there anyone in the east section that s in a position to do this for the young bird season sounds like a great idea and would add to the excitement every week unfortunatly i only home every 2nd week or i'd give it a go myself and if someone started it i'd be your 1st fiver what about you cowly.
