yes your right biga the west is the hardest to fly into .just for the guys that cant fly them . as for the north we know that its the distance that counts here us moan no we just get on with it and keep trying to acheive the ultimate goal timing in from the extreme distance . just giving it to the pilgrims as it is bigda . :P

went down to papershop to get mine not in wont be in until monday . went round to a clubmates house and he got his on thursday .think i will start getting it through the post this year.

bigda i stay in fraserburgh why would i want to be standing in the forth waiting for doos dafty .and when has anybody seen national doos come across the forth i,m sure when they come from distance they are well split up and singled up . its not like a club 100 mile race some mothers do have em .

thats what i enjoy about this site we can have a bit of crack and wind up . we have got to get the train thats the only way we will get our overfly and claw back the ours of darkness without you west boys moaning . :(

are you trying to start another riot danny . take a straight line from any lib in france to the north east of scotland and see if the doos came straight how much water our doos would have to cross. then take a straight line from any lib in france to the west (sorry south west scotland yes south ) and see how much water they would have to come across oh yes and there bop we dont have them here poor souls .

think there was also bob mcdonald - george ritchie - bob whyte -wilson noble-jim crawford i think also charlie fraser also walter he won the dammed thing (national) .

i,ve only won one and that was from newbury 2008 timed in at 6.50pm on the shift 435 mile and was 345th open .maybe not good to some but boy i was chuffed . live in hope for more

davy the newbury national is 260 to some 435 to me .

glad you have finaly taken notice of the distance we have to fly up here as they say its the time on the wing .

i,m no mechanic far from it but a few year ago i used to have a peugeot 406 . i went out to start it i had the same problem as you it turned out to be that a spring or shock broke i cant remember any way with it breaking it triggered the shut down valve in the petrol tank . the car thinks its been in a crash and automaticaly shuts the car down .

cracking post alan regarding the west i could be wrong here but i would say tam richardson won about the same amount of open tickets as the whole of the north section and thats just one man . so has the west got it hardest from a club race yes but from the distance when the doos are all split up no simple as the doo that wants home the most will get home first regardless of loft location JMO. enjoy your doos guys and face up to the facts there is bop everywhere not just in the west.

good post frank its seem the west coast guys that cant compete always moan and the guys that do well you never hear i wonder why .like you say it takes good doos and a good doo man and by the way the north guys have got it the hardest jmo .

frank there was a fanceir that lived up here that could,nt fly a kite moved down to the south and won a national . :-/
