bloody hell mate, how old are your ybs? think its far to early even if they are ready to go, remember your just starting up again, and in my opinion you will lose them all before racing starts if your not carefull, just trying to help you mate.

i think all the replies to this topic say it all, there is no such thing as the ultimate breed to win at any distance, and i wonder how many of these birds are 100% pure anyway? like everyone says get a good blend of the best birds in the right hands and they will do well for you, but if you try to sell them without a name?? which would you rather have a winning team of heinz 57 that are winning for joe bloggs now, or a team of " pure staf van reets you have just paid 50 quid each for but 3 generations ago they were winning out of turn. i know which most would go for!

o.k thats a fair point, but then there is a difference between a genuine change in circumstances, but bens word were "timewaister" which in my opinion is someone that has messed him about, as we dont know the true situation, then i suppose we should not pass judgment, i will await bens comments first. :-)

i doubt this will affect racing mate, very much hope not aswell, bird flu is still around, but its old news now the public arnt interested after 2 weeks, so they move on to other scaremongering news that people want to here! thats how they sell newspapers!

bird be a bit old now aswell would have tto go to stock, i would have give it a chance in the race loft for £50.

come on then ben, was it someone on here? if so name and shame them, why would someone waist your time over 47 quid and a bird of that quality??
