I dont think it will hinder her race performances, aslong as she has plenty of time to recover. I know a guy who has a good cock called the keel cock, that broke his keel, and he come from tarbes again this year nearly 700 miles, was 20th section L i think. and he thought he would never race again. :-) hope she recovers o.k
