  1. i have about 70 to race but its my first year back so i am only concerned with teaching them so will be lightly raced probably four races out to 150 miles. the problem is i cant decide wether to fly north or south
  2. if they are as good as his busscearts and vandies they will be superb
  3. i do believe that john crowder of record lofts still has these and has them for sale, i seem to remember seeing an ad for them a while back

  5. the only way to make this work is to form a network with a central hub, and you would need at least two drivers for each county, one to collect and deliver birds and one to take and collect birds to hub during the night. this way the next day the birds would be back in there own county and be delivered by the first driver. this would save drivers doing stupid hours and would mean birds would be delivered within 24hrs. i thought about this about 6 years ago but could not find away of making it run in a financially worthwhile way.one thging is for certain if the courrier problem is not solved then it will bring an end to our sport alot quicker than any hawks

    i would say hawks i have 4 white ybs and the only yb to be attacked by the hawk was a cheq

  12. i only have ybs to worry about this year and mine are flying 40mins to 1hr twice a day at minit will think about starting to train them soon
  13. my own opinion is that if your birds are good enough then they will win where ever you are located
  14. they look terrible mate think you should let me take them off your hans so you dont have to look at them ;D ;D ;D ;D, they are class mate credit to you
  15. def the win, last year i bred a bird that won 1st sect 21st open nrcc dunbar, iwas more plaesd with that than the £1500 the bird won for winning our fed breeder buyer
  16. the best cat deterant is one of your own i used to have a cat and he used to sun bath on top of the loft with the birds walking round him, i had trained him from a kitten not to toucgh the birds
  17. sorry to hear this if they need some ybs to replace them i have 6 that have just hatched and will gladly let him have them

    personally i think that if the owner cant be bothered to wing stamp or identify there birds then a rule should be put in place that they forfeit any rights to that bird. that bird should then be put up for sales with the proceeds going to a fund to help people start up in this great sport of ours

  25. Dad istoo long in the tooth Chris, to let it get the better of him. He will come back even stronger, even though he is a bit gutted at the moment
