  1. Know a few fanciers down in Cheltenham but I would would find out first what condition the bird is in and if they are expecting any payment.
  2. Just setting off from Malvern 160 miles to go see you all there, safe journey everyone.
  3. £15.50 with crocodile clips on the one end,on the last price list I have.
  4. Unikon have always sold rings to individuals at the shows, last price list I had was £1.50 each up to 49 rings,50-99 rings were £1.45 each,100+ were £1.40 each, if your club is a Unikon club member they are £1.25 each 50 is the minimum order.
  5. As your in the Midlands would say that your phone number wuold be enough.
  6. RPRA rule 222 says, It is the responsibility of the member to check that each organisation he intends to compete with has both the equipment needed, and willing, competent officials necessary for him to use his ets,so if your club was say all Unikon they could turn someone away who bought in another system, so I always say check with your club before you buy a system no matter how cheap or good its supposed to be.
  7. The answer I always give is check with your club first before you buy any system and make sure its going to be o.k. with the people that have to do all the ring allocating etc. the more different systems in the club the more problems for the people who have to run them.
  8. I,ll be there.

  10. Cheers mate, doesnt seem that the result programme will let me copy as explained in the video though.
  11. Could you please explain further about how to copy and paste or taking a photo snip please.
  12. Well it worked but not very clear, what have I done wrong as well as posted the same one twice.
  13. Could someone tell me if its possible to get our race result from the race result programme we have on the computer and put it straight onto here if so can someone tell me how as it will save a lot of typing when the time comes.
  14. Thought I read somewhere Blackpool was having millions of pounds spent on it over the next few years,I could definately see changes there last year even to the Winter Gardens and if I,m not mistaken the RPRA have booked it up for the next 4 or 5 years.
  15. I did think about that after I had written it but you never know,I think the best bet would be to ring Gail ASAP.
  16. Best thing to do is wait until the ring list comes out,for every letter of the alphabet thats used there will be a ring with that number on i.e. 2012.A.11611,simple ring the secretary of the club and see if the person that as got it will let you have it,another Idea would be to ring Gail she,s on here and also she is the secretary of the WHU.I,m sure she may help out if you explain everything to her.
  17. Not free though I,M afraid.Been trying a long time to send it onto my mates but dont think its possible,
  18. We have people in our club that have gone back to using rubbers on their young birds, nobody as had their ETS clocks long enough yet to have to replace the batteries will be another shock for them.
  19. Personally I dont think ETS will ever be made compulsory, would think there are still a big % of fanciers still using clocks and rubbers, even in Belgium they still rubber the birds in some of the big races weather you are using ETS or not.You dont need electricity near by to run a ETS system.they will run off a battery pack or car battery.
  20. Hope they get it sorted before Blackpool as I can see lots of fun on their stand.
  21. You cannot do anything with the system unless you have the code,Gail is saying its just 2012 rings thats the problem.
  22. Wouldnt think the activation code is anything to do with it,as nothing will work without that.
  23. Do you mean life rings or ETS rings.
