  1. with these like other oils i would think there are different quality , take cold pressed rape seed oil against supermarket veg oil which contains a lot of 2nd grade rape seed oil
  2. no wouldnt say you used it wrong grasshopper, just impressed with the babies this year may have been nice lookers any way with out it
  3. not to keen on jiff lemon i use the juicer for carrots then add the juice to the corn oils can go off if left in a to high temp but are fine if birds clear the corn put down for them i do not use fish oil , i prefer flax, wheatgerm, rape seed
  4. last few years i allowed it to dry on the corn , this time after taking advice i now feed it on the corn damp and dry it with a yeast mix , and the babies a great in the nest

  9. since i introduced deep litter of hemicore and poultry powder(stanslon , may be spelt wrong) my test's have shown a very low cocci count against my previous routine of cleaning the floor daily or every other day, i do however give my babies a canker tab at 25-30 days old, its something i have done for the last 5 years and like terry posted i treat all new old birds for canker , cocci in a small shed 3 foot before they mix with any of mine i use the same shed for any birds that go missing prior to putting themback in the main shed
  10. had a text the night before delivery from wayne with a approx time, and had the bird delivered at 0920 hours , very happy with the service
  11. i picked up a bottle of add herb from b&r last september when i checked the use by the date was 1 month before , poor rotation of stock
  12. i think wayne is behind the venture , i have had contact with him and he is picking one up for me today to drop back thursday cash on delivery , so all seems above board to me

    i use barley seperate to my mix adding when it birds at not racing or they are resting , over 350 miles i do not use it at all . i have tried to but found better results leaving it out over the above distance
  14. i dont think roundabout suits the cocks as much as the hens nany people say the hens out perform the cocks which may be because it suits them more i would always leave a pigeon in forms partner at home while its flying well as after 3 times arriving home to a empty box it must get fed up

    i use that mix on fridays and after 300 miles as its heavy fat mix, does it noe contain to much fat for the rest period?

    flyin couriers bought a bird down from scotland before for me , and i have asked them to do it again now they are up and running, so fingers crossed
  23. midlands national does not have a open national raduis , so great pigeon but not the same with a the bottom 100 miles of england not being in the mnfc, to me shouldn't be called a national
  24. i would put thin ply or hardboard with holes cut into them then the onduline, so the air can go out but but that way they will be supported and not get to hot in the summer
