Yeah I for one always let them in.... Box them up and feed them up. I report but dont like the answers I get sometimes from people who dont want them back so I usually try get them close to home and liberate

I still have fingers crossed we get at least one of our good cocks reported that was lost Marlbarough SNFC... All winners and top 5 fed scorers. But our previous luck has been like yours and we never hear of them agian

Yeah John its really not good sitting watching with nothing to do to help. Mibi have fire works about garden for future as this pair and young nest only a few miles away so know there is a daily meal here as there are about 6 lofts with anything from 30 - 100 young birds out

Just spent 10-15 mins watching 2 peregrine attacking a batch of around 30 young birds in my village. Not mine but local fancier. Must have had 7 or 8 attempts at the birds but failed. Think they were young peregrines and still learning. Closest they came was right above our head. Both peregrines dived for same bird but missed. Thought at one stage the yb pigeon was going to land on top of us the speed it dropped from high in sky to try avoid the two Peregrines!! First time I have witnessed an attack. The birds kept climbing higher and higher then the peregrines but anytime a pigeon dived for home they peregrines unleashed an unbelievable speed. God help us when they are fully trained as I doubt they will miss when older!!!! Thats them now been seen everyday for a week with mixed success by my father
