  1. I start everything on e bay at 99p but it don't sell for that. That is what auctions are about.
  2. Use it 2 or 3 times a week. Like the man says read the label. My birds always come home from a race to it, and yes it is 98% rehydrating fluid so it has some salt in it.
  3. Never let a duff 'un go it certainly wont enhance your reputation. I only let birds go that I feel will do good for some one else. I struggle with early youngsters. Sometimes I have too many late youngsters. I can't get on with big youngsters. All these I will let go. Not those I feel will suit me and my methods, not under any circumstances.

    TEN?

I know bugger all about soccer but teams in red statistcally do better
  5. Sorry but I don't believe in lucky wins unless you have a favourable drop in a fast race. Any bird that has stuck at it 10 hours plus, is not lucky even if there were two seperated on a decimal. Fast races favour luck far more than tough races every time.
  6. Immidiately thought long tough race must be best challenge. I have distance pigeons and my friend has sprinters. Nothing is more entertaining than beating him at middle distance cos this is where it is 50/50 competition.
  7. Yes have to say that sounds right but mine are just mine. Based on 1 Krauth 1 Spangle 1 Buscheart 1 Kirkpatrick. Never managed to keep more than 1 of anything.
  8. Black Krauth hen here has bred me 2nd sec 20th MNFC. Looks much better for doing that.
  9. You should only need to treat Cocci Kanker and Worms. No need to treat on a regular bassis, but you may need to treat those three during racing. I use cider vinegar, milton, yogurt and garlic. This keeps 'em ok for the most part, and I've never used an antibiotic yet, and I've had pigeons over 20 years.

Mate why not just get the best you can rather than just a fashionable strain.
  11. Sooner watch paint dry. Bloody girls taking a dive all the time. Think I might go for a ride on my BMW instead.
  12. Richard Howey from Northampton has some nice Carmichael's (Kirkpatricks) I have some and I am very pleased with them.
  13. Got a pair of Aardens from them this autumn and they look the best I've ever had from them. However I wonder if the older strains have been inbred for too many generations. I couldn't keep anything pure from them as I think they are all looking for a cross.
  14. My white Kirkpatrick x Spangle cock flew Palamos 751mile this year so they are still good for the distance.
  15. De Klak means the hat his name was jos van limpt
  16. 'appy with mine started with three broken cocks. Clocked 2 from 3 in BICC over the water. One was hawked the week before Palamos sent the other 2 and got 1. Young birds a bit different with a lot of new blood, but had 8 left, sent six to Lamballe and got 4 was 57th BBC
  17. clamidia is indeed bacterial so an antibiotic would seem to be the thing
  18. Mate that's made i think gonna have to look that one up. You're dead right about the lead though ;D
  19. Sounds right to me Thrush and Clamidea are fungal surely, and an antibiotic would only make the situation worse.
  20. Thanks to all that contacted me I could not sell these. For me they weren't suitable for my needs, but may well be more useful to others. Well bred nice looking youngsters but I doubt they would fly 750 mile.
  21. Of course it can be done. You must be able to get them back, when they go to there home loft. Breaking yearlings from a local loft is loads more viable than trying to break 5 year olds from 300 mile away. Best o'Luck.
  22. Yes I want some paddymacs anyone who can get 'em across that sea into Ireland must have some good birds. I had one from Palamos, but the Scottish and Irish birds must be as good as any anywhere.
  23. As expensive as you want. I've just given a pair of babbies away that would cost best part of £100 for the pair on another site, but I let 'em go cos I felt they would never do the job I bought 'em for. My base stock cost me bugger all, but I bought birds from 5 different national winning lofts and have none left.
  24. Birds gone now thanks
  25. Too many stock birds breeding birds with inferior natural immunity
