Its a wonderful sport that anyone can take part and compete. To breed a pigeon from a baby then for that pigeon to reward you by coming home to take a prize. I love a really sunny morning when everyone is still in there bed and you can sit and watch your birds exercise up and down the sky coffee in hand and the peace and quiet. The build up from a friday night until liberation then eyes to the sky to wait nothing beats the feeling when you see a pigeon trap from any race short or long and the thought of it might be a winner
