well if your that much of a pigeon man your results will speak for themselves. the best of birds wont cover that much distance in this type of whether trying to fly through high winds and driving rain. a soaking wet bird cant fly or did you not know that. as for you saying your a better pigeon man than the members on hear your are given your mind a real treat are you not. or you have won a few nationals from france to be better than some of the names on hear.

pentland are going down but the conveyor will not put them up unless he thinks the birds have a good chance of getting home as his own birds are their also. he has done a very good job up till now long may it last.

yes birds that are content will stay i bought a few birds from the late george logan and when he died i got the rest of them i have broke all that i kept . the birds i gave away to friends are flying well and some are scoring. i was told that george had lost races because birds were a bit skittish on return .if you had seen the size of old georges hands you would know why. some of the birds i broke land on me in the garden now as all are peanut daft.all are very content .i think the birds like the idea of going in and out the loft all day as i fly my lot open bowels . george used to let out in morning then in and out in evening . happy content birds make better race birds.

last year i had a magpie going in to loft and taking yb,s out the nest as i have open bowls. the same one was trying his luck this year as my son seen him trying to get in . needless to say he wont be going robing any more nest again . thanks to my son and his jackal

east wind helps the fanciers at brian,s end west wind helps us at my end. little or no wind would be better

teach them young in my opinion i will be given my 1st round some training in the next week or so probably 5 all together from 10 mile then i will stop them till its time to train them for yb program. we all have different views on this . a lesson learned when young will hold them in good stead when older. just my opinion. the 1st time the birds go will be on a very nice calm day if we get one.

i will check with him if it is the lib then i might reconsider for next year

when you get told from someone who won a good few quid at it telling you that they wont be sending another yb to it because the way the birds were treated .ignore them or listen

credit where credit is dew on an out standing result. as for the loft location lets see if someone else can achieve this when the wind is in their favor. you need the birds and the know how to get a result like this. so lets not try and take the shine of this .

300 mile for a yb is a bit much. i have heard that the birds are not looked after properly and that is from a man that has scored well at it .i think the rpra one loft is the pick of the 2.as you are well informed about whats happening .
