i am not clued up on my history of birds of prey .so when was the white tailed eagle a wild species in the british isles

did you have much bother getting the loft out of it,s old garden and did it go back together with no problem

if the birds came back in 1s and 2s maybe bop got to them .would not put it down to wind change.as i trained late breeds in December from further in freezing windy snowy conditions.the only day i dropped 1 was when birds came back in 1s and 2s. with a bit of luck you should hopefully see them tommorow

if you have good stock birds why try to brake them.i know of stock birds getting out after a year in stock loft with a big out side aviary never seen again. if you have to brake them make sure the birds can see their surrounding area from say a cage on a landing board. let them raise their 1st round of yb,s making sure birds are going up and in to cage daily to look around daily .when the hen lays her 1st egg from the 2nd round you could try letting the cock out with other birds to try and keep him at your place. the place you got your stock birds from if t is close to you let the previous owner know that you are trying to brake the cock that day.their is nothing worse than a bird you have sold or given away coming back to his or her old loft and getting in and trying to claim back old nest box eggs get smashed or yb,s killed. if the bird goes back to old loft ask if previous owner does not feed or give water to the bird and get it back as soon as you can.best of luck .this is only my opinion as most of us differ on what we do with our birds. hear is a wee tip when learning about racing pigeons ask a good few good fanciers their opinion on say racing yb,s.you will get a good few different answers .then look at the things they agree on that is what you will find works .that also goes for all things to do with racing. best of luck

after doing 2 sales on hear still learning how to do them without any problems. i think pm bids should be allowed but only from proven payers. as for not letting new members not bid on a sale till they have put up x amount of post.that to me would be wrong as i told a few fanciers about sales on hear some of them joined only to try and buy birds.i will guess a few other members have done the same. would it be possible to put a list up of members who you can guarantee will pay for a bird they have bided on in a sale.if it is possible if your name is on that list then you can bid via pm at any sale. as i have seen at auctions A out biding B so as B does not get the bird . then asked A why did you buy that so as B did not get it.

it is not all newbies that dont pay.i hope the member amie does not mind me using HIM as an example. when i did the W PRYDE sale for the arson attack on his lofts. i would look at the bids i had on the sale in the morning on the thread or by pm.each morning i looked i would see 4 or 5 bids on different lots form a newbie amie. i thought i was going to be messed about so did one or two other members. at the end of the sale any lots that the new member amie had the highest bid on where paid within a few days of the end of sale. if only all new members where the same.

never say never as you have bought from them and paid promptly. in both sales i have done. you might get a couple of cracking yb,s.then the next time you see them for sale it might be one of the charity ones on hear. so please don,t let the time wasters take away your chance of helping a good cause and hopefully getting a couple of good yb,s in return .
