I don't know if Bill has ever timed a pigeon, but his wealth of knowledge as regards the health of the pigeons is second to none. I'm sure I speak for a lot of fanciers who he has helped through-out the years. Keep up the good work Bill. ;)
Surely this has gone on for too long, and at times involved a lot of out-side interest with-in the forum. Is it not time for all concerned parties to meet up and air their differences once and for all and lets try and put an end to it all.
Maverick, I'm not disputing the fact that you received a threatening phone call but to use J. Whites name, is that not a bit suspicious. Could it be possibly be someone looking to stir alot of bother between yourselves. :-/
Hi Steve, I'm sure you will get it from your local Vet. Not too sure but, is it not spelt something like eurphamycin. Not the exact spelling I know but a little near the mark. Hope it helps. :)
I thought that pigeon racing was a hobby that was supposed to be enjoyed by all. Very sad time for a lot of people involved with pigeons at the moment, especially in Scotland. :(
Vaccination is an annual process. It lasts 1 year from the bird is vaccinated to the next. So if you wish to race your yearlings that have been vaccinated earlier in the previous year as ybs there should be no problem, but the same dosn't apply to older birds as they are vaccinated earlier in the year.
Certainly not getting short of topics Vic, If you read most of the pigeon weeklys you will find that that potassium permanagate is as popular now as it was 50 years ago.
Hi Bart, try the link for the e-mail address that redcheqhen put up. I also had a stray dutch bird and sent an e-mail on Sunday night when I seen the link. Had the owners name and address by lunchtime Monday. ;)
Although I have never met him, I have spoken to him on the phone a few times. A true gentleman. Hope they catch the Ba.....ds that done this. Hanging is too good for C..ts like this. > > >
