  1. Hi Mark, have you seen the loft ferry is offering for free.
  2. The only way that you are probably going to generate interest is by putting them on the board for sale.

    free loft

Cracking offer ferry, any chance of sending over to Ireland. Would be greatly appreciated. ;D ;D Well done mate, hopefully someone will take you up on your offer.
  4. Why not keep them for your own set-up andrew, as you stated you are only starting out on your own next year.

Good luck sapper, hope everything goes well Mate.
  10. Interesting reading, well done chaps.
  11. Phillips,I don't know who you are answering on this thread, but is this not the hen that you offered for sale a few months ago which I enquired about. I know you put her up for auction on a different site. :-/ and apparently she was sold.
  12. Well done Phillips mate, a great gesture, what the sport is all about. Keep up the good work. All the best. Pat
  13. If these birds are too good to give away, why would you consider bagging them. Why not try and give them to a young fancier who is looking to start up. The only problem I have is that the only time that I see you on pigeon basics you are looking to sell pigeons. The name Andrew springs to mind. :-/
  14. I hope you get a better response than you gave when asked the same question regarding the late bred fiasco that you tried to run. :-/ :-/ :-/
  15. Like to say that I met Vic yesterday after I travelled over to Liverpool to take my daughter back to University. Absolute top bloke, he went out of his way to meet up with me so as to collect pigeons for Mark and then transport them on to Southampton. A true Gentleman and a credit to the sport. Nice speaking to you Vic and if I can ever return the favour, please let me know. All The Best Mate Pat
  16. I'm looking to recruit someone to take over the secretary's post as I will be standing down next year. I have struggled this year through work commitments and I know that I will not be able to give it 100%.
  17. Mark, we all say things we regret and wish we could take them back, but that is a part of life. I see where you are coming from as regards to your feelings but please don't jump the gun and think that this is going to solve anything. You are a valued member of this forum, we all have our different opinions, we can disagree now and then, but most of all I believe we are all friends. So stick in there Mate and if you ever need a chat please pm me. :)
  18. Out of interest I would like to know how members of the forum feel they have done during the YB season. I personally use Y.B. races as an education and just hope for returns. I started the y.b. season with 22 ybs and I am left with 16. . Returns this year with the NIPA are absolutely terrible and most fanciers closed up shop after the first few races so as to have a few birds to race next season. Over here in Ireland, especially in ther n/west the returns are terrible. :-/
  19. Mark, keep up the good work, the rollers look fine. All the best Mate. Pat
  20. Surly, on your allowance Alf, you must be depending on someone else to keep you supplied with drink all day Saturday, and Im sure its not Tammy. :-/ :-/ ;D ;D : :
  21. Dave has a downstairs room were all the birds are kept and only the relevant persons get into the room to look after the interests of the birds.
  22. The Regency Hotel on Charnley Rd. Great grub, Great company and most of all, Great CRACK! Phone Dave (01253)625186.
  23. Didn't know him personally, but through several of your posts, he seemed a nice and generous fancier, always willing to help. Sincere condolences to all his family. Pat.

Sorry chrissy, but I agree with lplates & mark on this one, too many fanciers today are using too much treatments for their birds. How did they manage years ago when half of the rubbish they sell now with their miracle cures wasn't available. As the old saying goes, if it isn't broke, theres no need to fix it. Pat
  25. Are you coming alf
