Sorry for not getting back to you sooner John, I've only seen your post. Most of my Delbars are from Ian Axe (Axeholme Lofts) and I have a few B. Stoker & B Mc Neilly lines.
Sammy the Harper pigeons came from a fancier in Ballymena by the name of Tommy Harper who flew them very successfully especially at the distance (500-600) miles
As you know Jimmy, due to personal reasons I never got to race the OB programme but the one thing I realised is that when I started breeding I have ended up with far too many birds and most of the yearlings are untested.
Agree with you jimmy, but I would also add that some of the best birds you'll probably ever come to own will be gift birds obtained through friendship.
Sorry to hear this Mate, I know you were successful in bidding for my ybs in the auction. If you ever change your mind or want to restart let me know and I'll breed you a few to get you going again. Best of luck what-ever you decide.
Pat.
Its great if you can involve the whole family in the sport, unfortunately I'm the only one interested in my home. Sounds a great set-up you have there barlby.
Ridiculous amount of money to pay for any yb, not a bit wonder the HOBBY is in the decline it is in trying to attract new younger members. Its no longer a enjoyable past-time with all the money involved these days.
