Besides my race birds I also keep West of England tumblers (show type) but its just an interest for my youngest daughter and grandkids who love them and their vibrant colours.

I had an old hen that when let out used to go and sit at her old loft location which was closed up and no birds about it at all. She would spend a lot of time there and sometimes landed back at my loft in total darkness when most birds were settled up for the night.

The woman was an evil c**t and was rotten to the core, don't forget she played her part in covering up the Hillsborough tragedy.

If your getting it at that price Jac's your definately getting it cheap as most will charge £40 for the 20kg bags. Thats why I stock it up from the various shows I travel to as I buy enough to see me through the season and you always get it at knock down prices.

What sale have you got in mind Paul that will have bidding prices that high. I remember being in the Savoy Hotel a few years back at one of Louella's auction and a fancier paid almost £3500 for a son off Invincible Spirit. I was speaking to him after the sale and he told me he got the bird cheap and was well pleased :wacko:

Few a of the lads in our club have problems with getting a signal with the Bricon before the birds are basketed for racing. A few others including myself are using the Tipes system with no problems at all and no extra hidden charges when you have the system up and running

All the flooding here in Northern Ireland was on the East of the Province, thankfully we escaped with not too much damage up here in the N/west

I always buy mine when at the Blackpool show and with special offers I buy enough to last me for most of the year so I only need a small amount towards the end of the year. I use it all year round and wouldn't be without it for the birds.
