Interesting reading Lindsay and a good informative link for the Pigeon Vet site

I know it doesn't suit everyone but I found that early mornining training 5:30-6:00am has been successful for me here in the N/west of Ireland and thats the birds flying home through the Sperrin Mountains which is infested with several breeding pairs of peregrines. I have to agree with Derek, we all have to stand together on this and a few choice liberations will certainly help our cause.
