theres an old adage that size dosent matter, in the sixties ther was a fella called lichfield who flew cattryse to little lofts like these and i think there is a bhw scribe who suffers from pfl who flies to small rabbit hutch type boxes.please correct me if im wrong. -
our clubs first race of the season,but i still had the same buzz today as i did thirty years ago,well done to drysdale and son, the feeling will stay with you for a long time.

if i had a choice. of famlies of distance birds. they would be fromthe late billy wilkinson,cattreysse blaydon, wda or bobby parkin felling hs tours winner wda these were birds that could do the bizz no fancy pedergrees just honest birds can i also mention te late herbie howorth of highfield hs and then mount pleasant hs he also flew bobby parkins birds with great succsess this would be 30 yrs ago when i first srarted flying what herbie forgot about birds most people would never remember,

had 18 birds to otterburn 26mls south of me lib at. 1 pm blue sky very little cloud moderate tail wind first bird 2pm nxt 2 at 205pm nothing until 530pm when birds started coming in singles still 3 missing including fed winner the otterburn curse strikes again,anyone training inthe otterburn area have similar returns

i have also been using p.o.p or condies crystals as its also known in my bath water to but it makes me skin go purple, it does keep the lops though

welsh lads come to bonchester bridge every second year some go the game and some just stay at the pub and watch on the telly great atmosphere ,that could never happen with newcastle and sunderland supporters

larson traps, has anybody ever caught a larson, i think they are extinct

i have three fen tunnel traps set all the time one on the stone dyke behind the loft and two next to the loft on looking these traps last monday i was pleased to see i had caught a large dog stoat brilliant i thought you wont do any damage but unfortunatly i was to late it had killed a hen in the racing end but certainly wont do it again never mind we still have to keep going

does any body have any info on the grooters of h n w i saw a family of these in the seventies they were chocolate n white grizzles all the cocks were heavy wattled and the hens were long cast in my eyes ideal distance birds
