  2. ADVERT PLACED ON BEHALF OF MY FRIENDS – A & L PAINTER of WILLENHALL Tony and his son Lee at the moment would have about 24 pairs of Stock, 36 widowhood cocks and their respective hens. Normally, they’d have been quite happy with this sort of set-up – BUT Lee’s life is on the change. Recently he’s gone and got himself into what is hopefully a steady & long-lasting relationship (I hear wedding bells soon I tell ya!) – and as such he cannot put anywhere near the time & effort into the birds that he normally would have done. This lad is a walking talking pigeon machine! It’s become apparent that things need to change. The AIM now is to get down to 6-8 pairs of Stock and approx 18-20 widowers. This, of course means plenty of cracking birds must go. This loft would be a loft that’s taken considerable success before. 1st Section MNFC, back to back 1st Open Worcester Federation wins, dominated the Wolverhampton Gold Ring Result and would have wrapped up about 20x 1st in one season. Birds housed are the very old Van Reets. These lads were close friends with local ace Arthur Beardsmore, who of course got hold of them through his close friendship with Dave Allen. These were, and are, superb pigeons. They’ve also got some excellent Soontjens, some versatile Colin Lloyd Cattrysse and some M & D Gaby’s through ourselves Mrs C.Lycett & Son Unique opportunity to acquire good pigeons – a fair deal is guaranteed I can assure you of that. Prices from £40 each Tony & Lee are on 01902-609703 and 07973 315313
  3. Well what am I supposed to think when you say "Well Mike it depends which chair you're sitting on!!!" Jeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  4. I sit on the same chair as I always do
  5. How many utterly ridiculous things have been passed before?
  6. soap one wing down with washing up liquid. Makes em off balance - can't fly yet washes off easy & has no lasting damage

  8. We raised £13,045.00 last night !!!!! Thanks to one & all for your support Mike
  9. Hi Mate We never do well against the Potters - lousy record against em. Never moreso I think when Lou Macari was in charge at Stoke - he had em going well. He'd do a good job at a club even now. Score-draw I'd be happy.
  10. Ta all.... The front page article is posted on the General Page for you to have a gander at
  11. No worries Mark - thanks a lot I've just posted the front page article for you to read

  15. Cheers Dunno Andrew - didn't get mail. Would like to say "yes" but the auction ends at 11pm tomorrow. If you're happy for the offer to only have 24 hrs exposure then we're happy too. Send a PM to either me or Andy Galley on the other site & we''ll deal if you still wanna go ahead. Same applies to everyone!!!
  16. Guys & Gals The Staffordshire Newsletter came out today (Big Regional paper down here in Staffordshire). The Children In Need sale as organised by www.pigeonchatforum.com is SPLATTERED all over the front page. Personally, I'd have written it a little differently myself - but beggars cannot be choosers. I'm hoping to scan an image onto the forum as soon as I can, but i'm at work at present so it'll be late tomorrow before I can achieve that. I need YOUR help though We want Pigeon Racing showing in a good light? Right - email editor@staffordshirenewsletter.co.uk and thank em etc. for the way the article has been published etc.. If we bombard the Inbox with thank-you's and messages of positiveness then who knows what might come out of it? Image is of me & Dad holding the parents of what will be our donation to the Children In Need Sale (Same way bred as "Bobby Dazzler"). C'Mon... Short sweet email to editor@staffordshirenewsletter.co.uk Take you 30 secs that's all...

  21. BBC have said "Yes" Newspapers are saying "Yes" - just waiting for confirmation off radio
  22. Two options I think Jeremy Pm Chris Balson and Pete Fox on www.pigeonchatforum.com
  23. Still waiting
  24. Well I think there IS a difference !! It clearly says the son of Mansell that won 1st Banks's Classic was "The Bandit" - you say it was "Queenie" - What about the people who have our "Queenie" lines. It aint doing us any favours. Also it clearly states Cassie is dam of the 2004 Region winner "Maxi" - she was mated to a Kellens cock to produce "Maxi" not "Mansell". Every pedigree I ever send out is 100% bang on accurate. I would like an apology please because this aint gonna go away & it aint doing you no favours either. "Mis-interpretation" of a pedigree is looked on dimly by other fanciers
