  1. Hi peeps me again, I have question which is I have 18 young birds for racing but I think it's not enough can I breed more from my old birds again? All my birds just been vaccinated for pmv, could future babies compete without being vaccinated or must be done? I know the season starts in July so I use my 18 but could late babies be fine for later in the year or best for next year old bird racing? Cheers I know it's lots but I'm still learning

  4. Just watched the programme called natural curiosities by David Attenborough about racing pigeons ability to home is good and interesting and I keep thinking about my doos, it's clever and still baffles me how they find their way home from up to 500 miles. So here's to the humble pigeon

  6. I have disability which is cerebral palsy so cannot lift heavy or without my walking sticks so these guys are helpful
  7. Huge thanks to Colin McRae from cainbulg for helping us erect our young bird loft beside my existing one, also to Andy Higgins of Fraserburgh for starting me out last year with doos and some young birds so here's to my future and I hope I do well.

  11. I like pigeons that are a bit tame, shows they trust you to provide food and shelter and in return a good racing.

  14. Not yet they fly together I'm in middle of putting up a 2 section loft then the young be seperated

  16. There's not much round st combs but if my birds wander down towards the fields or crimond area then there's B of Ps (birds of prey) we get passing by B of Ps at st combs so some of my birds might have fallen victim to one.
  17. Don't get them my area but there's buzzards here or sparrowhawks, but my brother lives in Stonehaven there are peregrines there
