where is the stray centre is it still at broxburn ?

an all time scottish great pigeon man in an era of big birdages across the channel the performances were unbelieveable

in my opinion for all its worth we need a total rethink on times of races do we start too early have nationals later in the year ? young birds and old birds racing together and most of all put an end to the self interest that pollutes the sport and put the pigeons first get race programmes that suit everyone not just a few there are so many things how many turn up on night of first race with vaccination sheets and say sign there ? many years back people saw the raptor problem and tried to get everyone together all you heard was never get bothered by the hawk well now we all do . take a season out but breed teams and clear the road just a thought

when we flew from pencaitland our first ybd toss was carter bar 50 miles did it every year long before darkness and lightness etc hardly lost a bird never told anyone not see those days again

what a load of rubbish wicker basket by their very design afford the birds no visibility and no ventilation as for static give me a break

i convoyed the almond valley birds for years and i can tell you birds love it as for the comment about shavings the proper geraldy baskets are deeper than the the wicker ones the bare fact is there are too many feds making money out of the national the welfare of the birds and the drivers dosent matter . it dosent mean that the races are going to be better but you are moving in the right direction thank expletive removed* am out of it now

came home from work tonight and my arras pigeon was home pleased to see him thats m finished with three from seven at the start of season nearly all club races and two nationals many thanks to alister at the marking station at lauriston for his help on marking night

was effectively finished racing last season after 30 years and had them on open bowl right through the winter had seven coming up to start of season so sent as tossed birds every race was right on the pace apart from one race had four at last weeks national from billericay timing at 16 22 to scrape on to the result they have been lighty trained with no products coming up to the national had only lost two from the seven couldnt make it up

hi folks have some stuff here free to uplift i have home made lift off perches in good nick perfect for yb loft 69 inches wide 48 inches deep block of 24 i also have an aluminium 8 bird stall trap hardly been used and approx 16 sq metres off snowcem tiles and fifty ridge tiles if any of you fancy a tiled roof as i say free just pm me if interested am in newbridge edinburgh cheers

i watched that game as well and thought they were chronic to be honest no first touch and hoofing the ball up the park at every opportunity if they cant play now they never will down to the coaching the boys are getting these are probably between the two of them 90% of the best boys in the country at that age
