  7. Well mate as far as I know a lot of fish swim up river to spawn the small fry live in the rivers until big enough then travel out wards not inwards ,I know flounder and plaice do this .
  8. Now now wattie , the rats round here run about in packs cause their feert oh the weans .
  9. You don't get fishing boats near port Glasgow or Greenock chad , they are further down the Clyde , and believe me there are plenty seals at our bit , the last time I fished next to the container terminal in Greenock , I was there for about 5 hours and never even caught a crab , then up popped a seal about 20 ft out the feker looked as if it was smiling at me . The cormorrants are taking small fry up the river and the others that lead into the Clyde .
  10. Don't get the RP but ,will try and get a copy for a wee read , well done davie .
  11. Fished the Clyde since a wee boy , caught all sorts of fish since , but sadly there ain't many fish left , IMHO it's nothing to do with the subs , it's to do with the amount of seals. , cormorrants they eat all the small fish , the seals take the bigger ones it's not rocket science , just the same as the song bird population , they are in decline. And surprise surprise the bops are on the increase . Equilibrium is needed and I'm afraid it's went too far .
  12. Aye billy but she has always laid in 8/9 even last year .
  13. Thanks mate ,forgot to add the old cock has been hobbling about with arthritis for about 8/9 years as well , but the old b ugger still manages his end away no probs .
  14. So do I Paul , expletive remove this I pad is brill for pics ,as I took them about a minute before I posted them in the dark way a torch .
  15. I once sent one off them to the Europa one loft race in Cardiff ,they let me get in about a week after the closing date as I don't breed early , the blue hen made the final and was home on the day i think about 150 th out of 1,100 birds in a fastish race which don't suit these pigeons . Jim the hen handles like a yearling , when I let fanciers handle her on visits their gubs drop when I tell them what age she was .
  16. The cock in picture was bred by one of the best fanciers I've ever had the pleasure to meet , jock Alston ravenstruther .

  24. That's fine wullie but you must agree it's deceiving , getting a photo of the car winner with an Audi , it looks as if that's the prize does it not ,or is it just me that see,s it that way?
  25. So is that picture of the guy wining an Audi not true , looks like false advertising to me , because it def looks like the guy won the car in the picture . And when I seen it I said wow some car to win maybe have a wee go next year .
