  1. spot on mate, i see your still talking to me?
  2. what do you mean i understand no probs its just all the wording of these rules that gives a bad taste in my mouth,by the way i could,nt give a monkeys if you use it or not it should be policed properly
  3. its not a trap its a box, the trap is where the birds drop though the bob wires
  4. through a old type trap through bob wires on a board then catch the bird de-rubber and clock in
  5. there are different rules shu/rpra different wording but they still are NOT in the loft
  6. thats whats wrong with these systems no policing one of the rules is the bird must enter the loft to time in correct me if im wrong?
  7. WHO CARES its breacking the rule thats why the pads are supposed to INSIDE the loft, and im naw mickey mouse im the big bad wolf numnut
  8. so the birds are technically not IN the loft when clocking in ,or put it another way could clock in then fly away?
  9. where does the pad sit?
  10. i looked at his sale a few weeks/months ago great looking birds ,i was going on holidays so was needing my money or i would have bought no 31 (blue hen) and a (dark cock)i think it was no 26 or 27 belters
  11. its a shame he,s had to pack them in because of hawks
  12. nothing on till thursday mate scratchin ma ar@e here
  13. alf it was at a sale in kirkintilloch years before they packed in that i bought my hen 1993,cracker might i add dam/g,dam to 28 winners in fact i won an earlier on old bird race 2008 with a g,dtr of the hen,she died with a tummour at 10 .a chequer cock off her won well over £1,000 before getting lost at gold cup , he in turn bred a blue cock that scored at la fert bernard and alencon with snfc before getting lost at reims 2006 with snrpc still have her ring on my loft keys
  14. i bought one one gunn &cherries at a sale off his red ruby xa son of mount marles prince ivor im sure it said on pedigree it was robert .o.jones,s birds
  15. a guy called jim sheids in greenock once had a stray from ireland a grizzle hen ,the good races that bird won(at around 300 miles) the offspring she left were countless i think some maybe still in greenock,ps jim is the brother of the late tommy sheilds sadly missed by all his friends, which i was one
  16. djk has it bred good birds/to score at the distance?
  17. VERY TRUE robert happyness is half way to winning ,but even these strays are sometimes bred from nothing and still become great doo,s so it makes a lot of sence that happyness is a major factor in winning
  18. its strange strapper that with all the best pedigree,s out that sometimes a wee stray comes out of nowhere and ends up the best birds people have had ,its always intrigued me.
  19. maybe he uses that starvation diet their on about on this site lol
  20. i dot think it matters where the birds come from ,if they are good birds ,but you can give a numpty the best birds in the world and he,ll never win with them and thats a fact (if they only listened and learned they would drop the numpty status) ;)
  21. fair comment alec, i thought you were just another one coming on here slagging off snrpc and its birdage ,i think our birds have to work harder because of the smaller convoys ,just my opinion
  22. yes aly,s got some from wilf reed and doing good for him
  23. wheres evrybody gone (to bed) iv,e been enjoying the banter
  24. very good hen that is.if i cant win the she,s the next best thing
  25. iv,e always thought that antibiotic abuse was the cause of a breakdown of the immune system, but abusing standard medication(canker, cocci, worms) only made these diseases immune to the treatments. maybe im wrong?
