1st race april the 10th from romford approx 70 mls up the coast to suffolk

have early warning system for bop 100yds behind loft a water tower populated by crows they soon chase them away. and they warn birds and pigeons have gone up and circling bop from above havent lost a bird from bop in 6 yrs here around loft

mine go out every day wind rain or shine even in the snow on open hole through the winter

lol get out there in the rain and get building

forgot to add works out about £12 quid per 8ft X4 ft of flooring so cheap as well

ive used the tounge & groove chipboard its good scrapes easy and u dont notice the joins gonna do the rest of my loft with it but maybe the water resistant chipboard flooring will stop moisture getting into the floor

dont b sucked in by all the adverts by people selling pigeons lol

i ordered some stuff from talors and i must say i got excellent service came day i was told to expect i certainly will use them again

all depends what will b ur first birds m8 if getting in ybs that have just been weaned then i would suggest a good breed and wean mix plenty of maple peas good for ybs if older birds ur getting in to breed off i would go 4 a good all rounder mix till they rearing then the breed and wean . also make sure they have grit and minerals at least once a day and good clean water then u should b fine

just done mine had 3 peeps i didnt know at all on there so did missus

not so likely i like my bed to much to get up that early to let birds out roundabouts will go out once a day in morn when i get home and then ybs after they done then if time ill let flying out stock have a fly

have altered my workin hrs now to spend more time with birds start at 6am till 1030am then from 6pm till 9.30 pm all good

forget heaters m8 lot of expence loft needs to have no draughts a bit of cold wont hurt loft or birds m8 . ive never had heaters in 43 yrs in pigeons

if useing an stb or similar id go for a stall trap then theres no chaseing birds round loft to clock em m8 . thats what i use absolutly brill

ill give it a look ty sometimes its ok for a week then bang water gone

lol ill kill my 2nd car an old renault megane it keeps pressurizing and kickin all water out then boiling up no oil in header tank though any ideas maybe scrap yard best option
