Hi I havnt posted in ages but I always read up whats going on ..... I have seen some people selling hens that are rung 07 / 08 do you think too old to still produce young. Parker
a good read , several good points. Treat when you need to is my motto and specifically what they have , and I think the blanket cover is not good creating problems and a waste of £££ Parker
Hi All, Is it still ok to use garden lime mixed with wallpaper paste to paint the loft walls etc as I know I have in the past which helped in keeping all the lice , red mite etc, or nowadays health wise bad for the birds and me in the long run. P
not that I have measured up yet but the front will be at least 12 feet in length but the depth running from front to the back of the loft would and could be easily 24 feet if I wanted thats why I was asking about compartment size , if a long but narrow compartment would be ok for the birds and for me , I would make sure plenty of air coming in as I realise how important this, also nest boxes facing each other does this stress the cocks up to fight etc if paired up Hope that makes sense ? P
