  3. I think they use it in the building trade instead of T & G wood, very dense hence it's very heavy. Lindsay
  4. Hi OLDYELLOW,I agree with were you're coming from, living in the backwoods of the UK . where does anyone in Cumbria find an avian vet, the lads round here have tried like myself and just about end up telling the vet what's what.Gary's never let any of the lads that I know down, the all point of the exercise is to find out what the problem is,after that it's upto the fancier which road to go down. Lindsay.
  5. You turn up everywhere, kettle on ???????? Lindsay
  6. No ,please don't pick me up wrong ,I've never had any dealings with them for quite a while,I wouldn't condem any breed of pigeon, what suits one person may not suit another, different methods different results. They could be world beaters, there's only one way to find out.If you have no room for them I could try them and tell you what they are like. All joking apart, give them a try mate you might be surprised.Good luck . Lindsay.
  7. Microscope etc.sitting waiting. The kettles always on,plenty of biscuits, what time can I expect you. Lindsay ps If you can't make it to my house, Keto's in and her in doors makes cracking ginger bread.
  8. The old Delbars that were around when I was a boy were very reliable especially on a hard day ,small to medium in the hand and easy to condition,a bird that I always liked. Lindsay
  9. Yes ,Have a look at post,my 8x4 loft. Lindsay
  10. That's what I thought Stan,I have one that I no longer use, always found them a good reliable clock but showing there age now. Lindsay.
  11. Hi Paul, no mate that's for test and diagnoses.I'll have a look at a post on anothers site ,I advised a lad from Manchester to go to Gary's and he was very impressed (just to make sure) Lindsay
  12. Tidy little loft mate,I would put a piece of guttering along the front with a downspout to stop water running into your trap on the front.. Lindsay
  13. THe run of the mill tests, cicci ,canker worms etc.Try Gary Spavin,Lancaster. or Kevin Winter,Sunderland. I've used Gary before no too sure on his price now but somewhere in the range of £3 a bird ,if that much. Lindsay
  14. Hi Steve,I don't understand this part of you post "Not sure if you can still get hold of the clock rolls and ink ribbons" T2 clocks use the same printer as the T3 ?? Lindsay
  15. Just under his avatar,Lenwade Norfolk.
  16. Off subject a bit but you're correct in what you say, the new type hot water bottle( filled with wheat) the ones you put in the micro wave have lavender in them and advise after a while to spinkle lavender water on them to keep them fresh. Lindsay.
  17. Congrats on the new familly ,hope everyone's OK.My eldest lass had twins some twelve years ago they're brilliant. Lindsay

  21. Visited the Doc's this mo.on going prob with a bad head and snots.Seen a new las who gave me a good going over.Proceeded to print me a prescription out for Doxy, and a lecture on what not to do while taking it ,one of which was keep out of sun light and a def.no no,no sunlamps, while on doxy you are susceptible to sun burn.In this climate wishfull thinking.Another was make sure you take after meals or the lots likely to come back up,do not lie down within 2 hours of taking and more. Just shows you never know what your pumping into your birds,ie. side effects etc. Lindsay.

  24. This is the old junior that I have in the link.I'm sure the T2 is the same as the T3 set while running. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Junior-Racing-Pigeon-Dove-Clock-With-Key-15-Rubis_W0QQitemZ120484517218QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Clocks?hash=item1c0d6fd562 Lindsay.
  25. One of our club members used one about 4 or 5 seasons ago and if I remember rightly they are not the wind up model, they are same as the T3 except they are set while running.I have one of the old juniors don't know what name it comes under ,I think it was just called Junior, silvery grey metal case and reasonably heavy compared to the T3.Cracking clock had it for years and never let me down.
