Good post Jimmy ,I suspect most fanciers are pumping barley into their birds at the moment,if you're pairing soon, now's the time to start cutting back and giving them a good mixture of your choice.
Happy St. Andrews Day to you lads and lasses from over the border, you could have brought some warmer weather with it.Have a few Drams to take the chill away.

Hi Tom,good luck with the hop mate,a lady friend of mine suffered for years, had a hop ,she's like a spring lamb now i can't keep her down.No problems, no bother after the hop, it's hard work telling her to settle down.
Good luck once again.Lindsay

Living just outside the Lake District we get our fair share of peregrines and I can asure you percy dosen't mind what colour the birds are if he's hungry he'll follow them into the loft.Early this season I could have hit on with the scraper she was really hungry. They wait for one to loose it's nerve and break away from the flock and go after it.That's if they can't surprise them.I have my fair share of pieds most are still here.
Here's a 05, hen races nearly every week, been over the water a few times, fingers crossed will be going back over next season.
